Somehow Chelsea became the neutrals favourite in this match, great job Kenny.

I'm happy to say I backed Chelsea to win this the day the vbookie opened up again, and I'm sure RDM will do me proud.

Huh for some reason I didn't realise all of our games aside from the Semi's were at Anfield. Considering are horrible home record in the league this season that quite surprises me.

Was confident but after Chelsea's loss more or less knocked them out of the 4th place running they may be more focused on this match. They still have the champo league in the back of their mind though which will help us a bit.

Tricky arse tie but we've beat them twice already this season so who knows. Here's hoping for the double.

I am not interested in this game in the slightest. I probably won't even watch it. Funny to see that they'll both be playing each other again on Wednesday night in the league.

Re: FA Cup Final 2012 Discussion

I wouldn't say I'm super excited it's cup final day, because as far as I'm concerned, cup final day doesn't have until AFTER the league is done and dusted; am I the only one who feels like it's less special when the cup final is on the same weekend as premier league matches. Last year I missed a lot of the Stoke/City final because Albion had a home game against Everton a few hours earlier, and by the time I'd got back home it was 70 minutes into the match. So at least I'll actually be able to watch this final.

And, the last time Liverpool played a London club in the FA Cup final, it was a pretty decent game.....

Even funnier when you consider that if neither of us made the Cup final we would still be playing today anyway

Also @Ed Yeah I agree about the Cup final feeling less special while it's being done on the same day as Premier League games. It really should be done right after the season.

It was exactly the same last year, City were scheduled to play Stoke on cup final weekend, as in regards to the same day as the Premier Lesgue games at least most of them have been moved to the Sunday this year.

That's got to be a bizzare coincidence, 2 years running. Everyone will be looking for the Cup Final weekend fixtures next season.

Theres a 1 in 361 chance of it happening two years on the trot, and these are the first two years where it could have happened.

Wow didn't realise the same thing happened with City/Stoke last season. That is actually crazy stuff. Maybe it's a sign or something

Awful final so far. Chelsea have been way better and this just highlights how average some of Liverpool's players are (Spearing) or how disappointing they've been this season (Enrique, Downing)

Bad final, Liverpool didn't play at all and Reina's goalkeeping was pretty dodgy at times, really should have done better for the first goal. Better team rightfully won.
