For those wondering, the races on the BBC will be:

    15 April: China
    13 May: Spain
    27 May: Monaco
    24 June: Europe
    8 July: Britain
    2 September: Belgium
    23 September: Singapore
    14 October: Korea
    4 November: Abu Dhabi
    25 November: Brazil

Bit bummed Australia isn't live on the BBC, always like it

BBC's coverage of F1 has been good the last few years but as much as I hate the Murdoch Empire, no one does sports better than Sky.

Yeah agreed. Obviously comes at a price though, as with ITV's coverage we went for breaks mid race. Can't remember which race we missed the end of due to commercials. I've not yet subscribed to their F1 channel...does anyone know if there will be commercials, and if so, will they be "in line" (i.e. like American shows have adverts pop up in the corner or something) or actual advert breaks.

There will be NO commercials during the actual races themselves. There'll be some during the pre and post race talk, but Sky have been keen to ensure they don't alienate F1 fans by having in race commercials.

I'm really looking forward to this season. With BBC and Sky splitting the coverage this year it should be a great year for the viewers as they will do their best to bring us all the best action and features. And from an on track point of view I'm hoping the McLarens can get a few more top spot finishes than Red Bull, and I hope the Ferrari and Mercedes can get in the mix too and win some races.
