The Backlash card looks good, really intrigued to see what happens after Backlash though. As everything leading up to Backlash was to establish new champions so now once that is done, whats next is left to see as what storylines do you have shaped. One thing about the card is that stipulations to all these matches, now a ladder match for the finals makes perfect sense but is a fatal four way cage and a triple threat extreme rules match really necessary? Seems more like a over kill on gimmick matches. but Backlash is shaping up to be a treat of a PPV.

Backlash will shape the future of my BTB, at least for the next few months

I only have 3 gimmick matches and they are all tournament matches and all single matches (I put or between each name)

So far ive only announced 5 matches, a few more will be evident after the next Raw

Ive got a few long feuds coming through after the tournament and many will be evident about a month after Backlash, hopefully I can keep the product entertaining as it may be possible to lose that unpredictability after the first month or so

All 4 semi places will be sorted on monday

im getting really excited for my first PPV, hope my choices are well recieved

    PREVIEW

The monday night Raw supershow comes live from the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina

The show is the biggest Raw of the year so far and will shape the future of the WWE World Title scene

Former WWE champion CM Punk will take on Dolph Ziggler in a rehash of the feud they had over that world title in late 2001 early 2012 and will 'The Showoff' finally overcome 'The Straightedge Superstar' after so many near misses and what condition will CM Punk be in after successive attacks from Bully Ray

The other match from the Raw side of things is that of monstrous proportions as 'The Great White' Sheamus takes on 'The Monster' Abyss in the battle of the behemoths, whoever has the most power shall surely be victorious here

The Smackdown sides of the draw are more complicated, John Morrison and Mark Henry are set to go one on one for a place in the semi-finals but Cody Rhodes as of yet has no opponent following the double countout of Daniel Bryan and Wade Barrett and General Manager Shawn Michaels has yet to rule on what will happen next, an announcement on Raw is most likely.

Also scheduled for Raw are two matches between the four competitors in the United States championship match as champion AJ Styles takes on Jack Swagger and Christian goes one on one with Mr Kennedy. Theres also a Tag Team Championship Turmoil qualifier set for the show and much much more.

    Stay tuned for more

    re: WWE 2012 - A New Direction

To anyone reading this I want an opinion on my BTB

Should Daniel Bryan and Wade Barrett get another chance at the World title tournament or does their double countout mean they should both be eliminated?

I have a scenario for Raw for both and a Backlash scenario for both(you may be changing my plans)

    re: WWE 2012 - A New Direction

    technically, both shud be eliminated

you can have a scenario where both go to teddy long/gen manager to ask for one more match between them this time in a steel cage or something, and get a winner

    3 HOUR SUPERSHOW

Live from the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina

Video plays hyping the WWE Unified World Title tournament and many of the competitors tonight including CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes & Mark Henry.

    Raw pyros go off

We are brought to the announce table with Michael Cole, Tazz & Booker T and they welcome us to the sold out Time Warner Cable Arena and run down tonights card including CM Punk versus Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus versus Abyss and the impending announcement of the smackdown quarter final conundrum where Wade Barrett and Daniel Bryan went to a double countout in the previous round leaving the tournament up in the air. Each commentator picks their winner with Tazz siding with Abyss, Cole siding with Cody Rhodes and Booker T picked CM Punk saying hes been there done it.

    **END OF DAYS**

Wade Barrett is out towards the ring with only Matt Morgan in tow and he starts calling out Shawn Michaels yet again and stating that he only tied last week as Daniel Bryan illegally held onto the Lebell Lock. He demands he be reinstated and that he will become the next WWE champion.

    **FLIGHT OF THE VALKYRIES**

Daniel Bryan then enters the ring to a big ovation and says Barrett was only on the outside so he could tap like a little bitch as he knew Bryan had his number. A 'YOU TAPPED OUT' chant begins and Barrett and Morgan get irate to the point that a staredown starts.

    **SMOKE AND MIRRORS**

Cody Rhodes makes his way onto the stage and tells the little girls in the ring to calm down as neither picked up a vicory last week and via precedent set beforehand in the WWE Cody Rhodes will have a bye, Cody Rhodes will defeat two more superstars at Backlash, and Cody Rhodes will become the new WWE Unified World champion. The crowd boo as Rhodes states this and as he brings up Shawn Michaels....

    **SEXY BOY**

Shawn Michaels makes his way onto the stage and tells Cody to go to the back he will deal with this. Rhodes leaves and HBK makes his way down into the ring and tells Barrett and Bryan that Cody Rhodes had a point, nether man picked up a victory last week, but as hes a fair man he also realises that neither man picked up a defeat. So in the interest of fairness Bryan and Barrett shall go one on one here right now and the winner will take on Cody Rhodes later tonight. But theres more and he says that tonights match needs a special referee. HBK says he has known this man a long time, this guy is as arrogant as Wade Barrett, but also makes his opponents tap out like Daniel Bryan. HBK welcomes for one night only, that limousine riding, jet flying, kiss stealing, wheelin dealing son of a gun, welcome home.........

    **WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!**

    **SPRACH ZARATHRUSTRA**

Ric Flair makes his way onto the stage in a referees shirt and the whole of the arena explodes in the return of the Nature Boy in North Carolina. Flair takes time to take in the applause on the stage before getting down into the ring and gets in Barretts face shouting WOOOOOOOOOO, Barrett is fuming as Bryan laughs in the corner. HBK shakes Flairs hand before leaving and we are ready for the first match.

Match One I Singles Special Referee I WWE Unified World Title Tournament Round Two

Daniel Bryan v Wade Barrett w/ Matt Morgan

    Special Referee : Ric Flair

The match starts frantically as Wade Barrett takes it to Bryan with some stiff forearms and Barrett hits a fireman carry takedown into a reverse headlock and Barrett applies the pressure as Bryan struggles. Barrett hits down with his free arm and puts a couple of elbows on Bryan. Bryan starts to rage up and starts getting to his feet and sends Barrett off into the ropes, Barrett swings an arm and Bryan ducks hitting a schoolboy pin and gets a two count and Barrett quickly pushes off and Bryan hits into Flair knocking him down and Flair does his famous flop before stayng down. Bryan immediately dodges another running clothesline and Bryan locks the LEBELL LOCK in on Barrett who immediately starts tapping out on the canvas. Morgan is quickly in and stomps on Bryan breaking the hold, Bryan is being ganged up on now and Barrett picks him up and tells Morgan to hit the CARBON FOOTPRINT and Morgan gears up in the corner but Flair is on his feet and starts chopping Morgan in the corner. Barrett is then being pounded by Bryan but Barrett hits a lowblow and WASTELAND on Bryan as Flair ducks a clothesline and comes off the ropes with a chopblock. Flair sets up for the figure four but Barrett pushes him asking what the hell hes doing, Flair starts doing the strut across the ring but Barrett grabs him and Flair punches him right into the LEBELL LOCK. Bryan has Barrett smack down in the middle of the ring and Flair is shouting WOOOOO in Barretts face as he eventually taps out. Bryan advances

Result: Daniel Bryan defeated Wade Barrett by submission

Daniel Bryan celebrates in the ring with Ric Flair who raises Bryans arm as Morgan gets in Flairs face. Bryan takes a leaf out of Flairs book and chopblocks Morgan and Flair locks in the FIGURE FOUR LEG LOCK. the crowd are going wild as Barrett just leaves Morgan high and dry before Flair releases the hold and Morgan wriggles out of the arena. The commentators are loving it as we go to the backstage area

Shawn Michaels is walking backstage when Alberto Del Rio comes out of nowhere shouting in his face. Del Rio states that last week HBK said he wouldnt be giving anyone else a second chance and that he just gave not one but two superstars a second chance and that maybe the only reason Alberto Del Rio doesnt get a second chance is because of the colour of his skin. Shawn Michaels quickly butts in as he doesnt want to be known as a racist and states the only reason Alberto Del Rio didnt get a second chance was he was cleanly pinned by intercontinental champion Justin Gabriel, which brought him to Alberto Del Rio. HBK claims Del Rio was well out of order interfering and costing Gabriel his world title chances and that Gabriel has asked to take on Del Rio tonight. Del Rio doesnt look happy but HBK has said he has no match against Justin Gabriel, tonight. But he will go one on one with Justin Gabriel this sunday at Backlash. Del Rio doesnt like it. He storms off

Lilian Garcia announces hat the following macthup is an over the top rope battle royal for the last two remaining spots at the tag team championship turmoil match at Backlash. The rules are over the top rope until the last two men remain, and then the last two competitors will face off with the loser recieving the number one slot in the tag team turmoil match. The announce team go over how this match can be very unpredictable and its anyones game to be in the title match.

    **SO CLOSE NOW**

The Usos Jimmy and Jey make their way down to the ring accompanied by Tamina. Tazz mentions how the brothers are the sons of former WWE superstar Rikishi.

    **BARCODE**

Epico and Primo make their way out to the ring along with Rosa Mendes and the crowd dont particularly like The Puerto Rican Nightmares

    **TNT**

The Worlds Greatest Tag Team make their way down to the ring and Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin recieve a great cheer from the Charlotte crowd. Tazz says that he really thinks Benjamin and Haas deserve to be in the turmoil match

    **NEW FOUNDATION**

The Hart Dynasty along with Natalya make their way down to the ring and Michael Cole points out that there are already five different nationalities in the ring and tates that the WWE is a very diverse industry

    **CALIFORNIA LOVE**

The crowd are pumped up as Brian Kendrick and Kazarian make their way down to the ring. The California Beach Boys have a strong following and are fan favourites for this match

    **PREACH THE TRUTH**

The new alliance of The Prophet and R-Truth make their way down to the ring to a chorus of boos and Tazz says that both are great individuals but this is a team game and doubts they have the chemistry to win this match.

    **SOS**

The last competitors of the night, Airboom make their way down to the ring and slap hands with half the crowd but both Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston are far from fully healed after last weeks attack by Abyss which is shown on a video. Booker T says that h doesnt think they should be competing injured

With all the competitors in the ring the match can be started.

Match Two I Over The Top Rope Battle Royal

Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas v Primo & Epico v R-Truth & The Prophet v Kofi Kingston & Evan Bourne v Brian Kendrick & Kazarian v Jimmy & Jey Uso v David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd

As the match starts everyone goes at eachother except Truth and Prophet who bide their time in the corner. A mass elimination is instant as first Jimmy Uso misses a superkick and is backbody dropped over the ropes by Primo and Epico who taunt him before both are clotheslined over by Jey Uso who in turn is bundled over by The Prophet. Truth and Prophet then gang up on Evan Bourne as Haas fights Kingston, Benjamin fights Smith and Kendrick and Kazarian are trying to lift Kidd over. Smith stops Kidd being eliminated but as Benjamin hits Smith Haas has been hit with the Trouble in Paradise over the top rope. Kingston goes to help Bourne out and ends up hitting a double crossbody onto Truth and Prophet and all three topple over the top rope. Bourne cant believe it but Kingston tells him to win the match. Prophet and Truth are understandably upset at being eliminated but congratulate Kingston before exiting. Benjamin hits a dropkick taking Kazarian over as The Hart Dynasty try to eliminate Kazarian, Kidd has him halfway over but Smith pushes both Kidd and Kazarian over the ring. Kidd looks back and Smith shrugs his shoulders. We are down to the lat four now and left are Evan Bourne, Brian Kendrick, David Hart Smith and Shelton Benjamin. Smith and Benjamin go one on one whilst Kendrick and Bourne slug it out. Benjamin hits a sambo suplex on Smith and Kendrick hits the Sliced Bread on Bourne. Smith with a low blow on Benjamin and ther are no disqualifications in this match and Kendrick climbs the turnbuckle but Smith runs over and pushes him off the turnbuckle to the outside and the crowd boo Smith who then picks up Benjamin and hits the RUNNING POWERSLAM. Bourne gets back to his feet and starts hammering Smith in the face and Bourne hits a running enziguiri. Truth has snuck back out though, enters the ring and chucks Bourne over before exiting and we have our last two competitors.

Result: Shelton Benjamin and David Hart Smith survived

This mean that they will both qualify for tag team championship turmoil and will now face off to avoid the dreaded first entry into the turmoil match.

Match Three I Singles Match I Winner avoids first entry number

Shelton Benjamin v David Hart Smith

Both competitors are down on energy but Smith has the more and starts off well hitting a suplex on Benjamin. The crowd are getting behind Benjamin but Smith sends him into the crner but the irish whip is reversed and Benjamin hits a clothesline and then sends Smith into the other corner. Benjamin with a stinger splash but Smith moves and Benjamin hits the turnbuckle face first, Smith rams Benjamin shoulder first into the ringpost and then hits the RUNNING POWERSLAM again and covers for the pinfall

Result: David Hart Smith defeated Shelton Benjamin by pinfall

Natalya celebrates on the outside as Smith is joined by Tyson Kidd in the ring, the two have words possibly about Kidd being eliminated by Smith but eventually Natalya diffuses the situation and they leave together. The commentators put over how impressive Smith was in defeating Benjamin and how gutted Benjamin must be about having to be number one in the turmoil match

We come back to Christy Hemme interviewing The Worlds Strongest Man Mark Henry and she asks him about his match against John Morrison. Henry says he made it blatantly clear last week that John Morrison would be joining the Hall of Pain tonight ad he furthers that by saying after tonight Morrison wont be called the shaman of sexy for long because he will break him in half. The commentators go over how intense Henry was in that promo and that John Morrison will have a tough match later on

    **SUPERNATURAL**

Cruiserweight champion Gregory Helms makes his way down to the ring as Garcia announces the following match is a non title affair.

    **THE RISING**

Intercontinental champion Justin Gabriel makes his way down to the ring and Cole comments that backstage Helms was stating he could beat any other champion on WWE television so GM Shawn Michaels put him in this match with the fired up Justin Gabriel

Match Four I Non Title Singles

'African Air' Justin Gabriel v 'Supernatural' Gregory Helms

The pair stare off to begin and lock up and Helms takes Gabriel down before rolling him over into a pinfall and getting a short two count. Gabriel ducks under Helms clothesline and hits a rollup pin which Helms pushes off and Helms hits a dropkick on Gabriel. Helms with a DDT on Gabriel and Helms covers for a two count. Helms hits another DDT and then taunts the crowd before picking up Gabriel and hitting a few punches to the head of Gabriel. Helms hits a SHINING WIZARD on Gabriel that knocks him to the outside of the ring. Helms doesnt rest though and follows immediately sending Gabriel into the ringsteps. Gabriel is chucked back in and Helms covers for the two count. Helms hits a dropkick and then leg drop and another cover for a two count. Gabriel is pulled to his feet and mounts a comeback. Gabriel with the enziguiri but Helms ducks and Gabriel comes back with the reverse mule kick and finally takes Helms down. Gabriel hits Northern Lights suplex on Helms and then starts to climb to the turnbuckle which quickly brings Alberto Del Rio out to ringside. Del Rios presence distracts Gabriel whilst Helms leans on the ropes knocking Gabriel down. Helms hits another SHINING WIZARD and covers for the pinfall

Result: Gregory Helms defeated Justin Gabriel by pinfall

After the match the commentators go on about Helms upsetting the intercontinetal champion and Del Rio like last week circles Gabriel and locks in the CROSSARMBREAKER and Gabriel screams in pain as Del Rio wrenches the hold on and referees swarm the ring as Del Rio releases the hold. Del Rio picks up the intercontinental championshp and raises it into the air and the crowd boo him as he goes to the back after chucking the title at Gabriel. The commentators go over how disgusting the behaviour of Del Rio has become over the last few weeks

Backstage now and Christy Hemme is standing by with the United States champion AJ Styles. She asks him how he feels about defending his title in a fatal four way at Backlash where he could lose it by not being pinned. Styles says he knows it will be difficult but the challenge of overcoming the odds is one that spurs him on and on week in week out and he believes he will walk in and out of Backlash as the WWE United States champion. Its then that Christian enters the fray and starts to mock Style stating that like in the other place they both were Style is just the afterthought when compared with the Instant Classic, just look at Abyss. He says Abyss has come to the WWE and even a monster like him with no real sense of danger stayed well clear Styles who he has known longer and sided with the next US champion. Styles says that he is here for the long haul on his ability alone whilst most of the roster beleive Christian is only here in respect to his former greater tag team partner, Styles leaves on that and Christian starts whispering in Abyss's ear.

    **SOMEBODIES GONNA GET IT**

Mark Henry makes his way down to the ring and looks intense as he carries on spouting abuse towards the crowd. The commentators put over how Henry has already beaten two superstars in Jeff Hardy and Justin Gabriel who are similar in stature and style to John Morrison. But Tazz also points out that Morrison has beaten Matt Morgan who is a larger athlete and even beat The Miz twice in a winner takes all match last week.

    **AINT NO MAKE BELIEVE**

The Shaman of Sexy makes his way down to the ring to the second biggest pop of the night so far(After Flair) and the commentaors put over how great he has been lately and how despite holding the MITB briefcase he has vowed to win the title the right way.

Match Five I Singles Match I WWE Unified World Title Tournament Quarter Final

    Mark Henry v John Morrison

Henry stands his ground as the bell goes and the two lock up but Morrison is well out of his depth and gets caught by Henry who shoves him down. Morrison then trie to come off the ropes and barge over Henry which also doesnt work. Morrison comes off the ropes and this time Henry shoulder blocks him down and Henry goes for a big splash but Morrison moves and Morrison hits a dropkick to the head and tries to keep Henry down with dropkicks, elbow drops and a standing shooting star press onto Henrys back. But Henry keeps getting up and he blocks a crossbody from Morrison and sets for the WORLDS STRONGEST SLAM but Morrison with a couple of strikes to get out of it and Morrison dropkicks the knee taking Henry down to his knees and Morrison cracks a knee to the face of Henry who still doesnt fall so Morrison hits a DDT into the canvas and finally Henry is down. Morrison sets for the STARSHIP PAIN and hits it and covers for a three count....nooooooo.......Henry gets an arm up and Morrison cant believe it. Henry clotheslines Morrison down and sends him into the corner. Henry stampedes but his knee gives way and he slumbers to the canvas. Morrison hits a crossbody on the injured Henry and then wrenches a headlock on for a few moments. Henry sends Morrison off into the ropes and he ducks a clothesline and hits the FLYING CHUCK. Morrison drags Henry under the ropes, hits the STARSHIP PAIN and this time he covers for the pinfall.

Result: John Morrison defeated Mark Henry by pinfall

After the match the commentators discuss Morrisons huge win as he celebrates with the crowd and advances to the semi finals of the tournament at Backlash. Henry cant stand up though and his knee is seriously injured. He tries to push the referees and EMTs away but eventually he gives in as his leg gives way. Henry is wheeled to the back on a chair and doesnt look too happy. The commentators put over how angry Henry was to be helped.

As we come back Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler are talking in the locker room about how they will both win tonight and then both win this sunday and become champions. Vickie Guerrero then enters and says it might be time to start recruiting extra men to join her Entourage, she says its time they started taking over the WWE and ruled all before them. She leaves and then Swagger says he thinks its a bad idea and Ziggler agrees saying the limelight doesnt need to be shared more than it already is. They high five and leave the locker room

    **GET ON YOUR KNEES**

Jack Swagger makes his way down to the ring accompanied by Vickie Guerrero and the biggest boo of the night is heard out

    **I AM I AM**

WWE United States champion AJ Styles makes his way down to the ring to a great applause from the crowd and the commentators put over the feud between Christian and Styles escalating over the last few weeks.

Match Six I Non Title Singles Match

'Phenomenal' AJ Styles v 'All American American' Jack Swagger w/ Vickie Guerrero

They lock up and Swagger uses his strength to push Styles into the corner and Swagger releaes smiling at Styles and then they lock up again and Swagger gets round the back and waistlocks Styles and takes him down and locks on the full nelson on the canvas. Styles then gets up to his feet and uses the turnbuckle ala Bret Hart to flip over onto Swagger who releases the hold just in time and gets a shoulder up. Styles hits a running leg lariat to Swagger and he then hits the PELE out of nowhere but cant pin Swagger as Vickie gets up on the apron. Vickie then gets down as Swagger gets back to his feet and hits a release german suplex on Styles. Swagger covers for a two count. Swagger with a belly to belly on Styles followed by a suplex and then another cover for a two count. Swagger with the SWAGGERBOMB but Styles gets out of the way and Swaggers face hits the canvas hard. Christian is then seen making his way down to the ringside arena with Abyss and Styles gets the STYLES CLASH on Swagger, Christian quickly sends Abyss into the ring before leaving. Abyss hits the BLACK HOLE SLAM on Styles and the referee calls the disqualificaton.

Result: AJ Styles defeated Jack Swagger by disqualification

Abyss then picks up Jack Swagger and hits a double handed chokeslam on him before leaving the ring with both men down. The commentators talk about Abyss being Christians ace in the hole and how Abyss may be crowned WWE champion this sunday. They quickly send us backstage to breaking news

In the parking lot and Daniel Bryan is being assaulted by Wade Barrett, Matt Morgan and the tag team champions Mason Ryan and Skip Sheffield. They shove him into a couple of cars and a double chokeslam from the tag champs on the bonnet takes Bryan out. Morgan hits the CARBON FOOTPRINT on Bryan and then Barrett hits the WASTELAND through a car windscreen. Barrett taunts Bryan as the foursome get into a vehicle and drive off.

    **WRITTEN IN MY FACE**

The crowd cheer as the WWEs lone irishman Sheamus makes his way to the ring but the commentators are too busy discussing what just happened to Daniel Bryan to comment. **BLACKHOLE** then plays as Abyss returns to the ring after his excursions moments ago. The announce team talk about how destructive Abyss has been of late and how hes near impossible to stop.

Match Seven I Singles Match I WWE Unified World Title Tournament Quarter Final

'The Great White' Sheamus v 'The Monster' Abyss

The match starts and both behemoths start brawling one another and Abyss gets the better of Sheamus flooirng him with a clothesline. Abyss hits an elbow drop. Abyss picks up Sheamus and hits a powerslam on the irishman. Abyss picks him up starts double handed choking him which the referee tries to break but Abyss slams Sheamus down. Abyss with a big leg drop but Sheamus moves and Sheamus starts clubbing away at the head of Abyss. Sheamus knocks Abyss onto the apron and puts him between the ropes and hits several clubs to the chest, the crowd cheer as Sheamus yells before hitting a masive club. Sheamus then hits a BROGUE KICK knocking Abyss off the apron and Abyss is down for the first time. Sheamus follows and the referee starts the count. Sheamus slams Abyss headfirst off the steps four tmes before Abyss blocks and sends Sheamus sprawling towards the barricade. Abyss charges at Sheamus but Sheamus moves and hits the barricade hard. Someone in the crowd then handcuffs Abyss to the guard rail and takes their hood down as its revealed to be AJ Styles. The referee continues the count and Abyss wrenches at the cuffs but to no avail as Sheamus crawls back into the ring and the referee reaches ten

Result: Sheamus defeated Abyss by countout

After the match Sheamus celebrates and Abyss finally breaks off the handcuffs but gets the last laugh when he takes Sheamus out with a BLACKHOLE SLAM. Abyss leaves to the backstage as we go to a break

We come back and CM Punk is talking to Christy Hemme and she asks him is he one hundred percent tonight and whether he thinks going one on one with a guy like Dolph Ziggler less than one hundred percent is a good idea. Punk says that of course he isnt one hundred percent. He says that he cant no matter what give in to the pain as he needs to reclaim what was rightfully his, the WWE championship. He says that despite Bully Ray hurting him last week he still came out successful and he feels a lot better than he was last week. He tells Dolph Ziggler to bring his A game because he will need it to beat the Best in The World

Back in the ring now and **SMOKE AND MIRRORS** plays as Cody Rhodes makes his way out to the ring with a smug look on his face. The announce team put over how Rhodes must be loving Daniel Bryan being injured. Rhodes gets on the microphone and goes over how he told Shawn Michaels, how he told Daniel Bryan to just give him a bye because look what transpired. First a no good loser of a legend called Ric Flaie tries his hardest to steal the limelight from the new generation. Crowd go ape over that comment. Then Bryan gets exactly what he deserved for clamouring to be reinstated when Rhodes could have saved him the hassle as he wouldnt beat him if he were fully healed never mind injured. **FLIGHT OF THE VALKYRIES** plays and the injured Daniel Bryan comes down gripping his ribs closely as referees try to stop him, Bryan pushes them away. Bryan says like his friend CM Punk said recently, its all about the gold and your bound to make a sacrifice along the line whether it be a lack of friends like Cody Rhodes or a lack of health like himself, he says it is his duty to continue for as long as he can walk, to fight with honour.

Match Eight I Singles Match I WWE Unified World Title Tournament Quarter Final

'Dashing' Cody Rhodes v Daniel Bryan

As the match starts Rhodes quickly goes to work on Bryan and Bryan hasnt the strength to fight back as Rhodes picks him apart. Rhodes hits the BEAUTIFUL DISASTER on Bryan and covers for the one...twoo.....thre......nooooo and Bryan gets the hand up to the delight of the crowd and Rhodes cant believe it as he starts stomping away on Bryans injured ribs. Bryan gets hit with a bionic elbow drop from the middle rope and Rhodes covers for a two count. Rhodes starts to argue with the referee for slow counting and he picks Bryan up who locks in the LEBELL LOCK out of nowhere and Bryan hasnt the strength to keep the hold as Rhodes elbows Bryan in the ribs. Bryan is in pain as Rhodes picks him up and slams him down with the ALABAMA SLAM. Rhodes hits the CROSSRHODES and covers for the three count

Result: Cody Rhodes defeated Daniel Bryan by pinfall

After the match Rhodes just looks down on Bryan shaking his head before leavign a the crowd boo. The crowd then cheer wildly as Bryan makes his way onto his feet and walks alone out of the ringside area. The announce team go over how brave Bryan was but Booker T points out he was a bit naive too and never should have went into the ring

We come back from the break and the team of Mickie James, Tara and Kelly Kelly are waiting in the ring as the announce team talk about the wwe title tournament

    **GLAMAZON**

The womens champion Beth Phoenix comes out to the ring along with Maryse and Katie Burchill and we have a good old six woman tag team match

Match Nine I Six Woman Tag

Mickie James, Kelly Kelly & Tara v 'Glamazon' Beth Phoenix, Maryse Oullett & Katie Burchill

The match starts off with a couple of battles as all six women fight and the faces clean house and we finally start with Mickie James and Maryse and they lock up and Mickie takes her down and puts her in a headlock, Mickie is sent into the ropes and Beth maliciously kicks her in the back and Maryse follows up with a DDT and a cover for a two count. Maryse wristlocks Mickie and tags in Katie. Katie goes to the top rope and hits an axe handle. Mickie down now as Katie hits a suplex on her and covers for a two count. Mickie starts a fightback and manages to get the tag to Tara who runs in and decks Katie and then knocks both Beth and Maryse off the apron. Tara hits a huge spinebuster on Katie and covers for a two count but then Katie pokes her in the eye and tags in Beth who is irate at the attack moments ago and Beth hits a gutwrench powerbomb for a two count. Beth locks in the abdominal stretch and keeps using her partners for leverage behind the referees back the referee finally sees it and breaks the hold. Tara manages to hit an enziguiri out of nowhere and gets the hot tag to Kelly who explodes into the ring hitting a dropkick on Beth and then Maryse gets decked with a right and a left to Katie and now all six women are in the ring and Tara clotheslines Maryse over the ropes and ends up going with her and Mickie tackles Katie to the outside. Kelly is busy watching what has gone on outside to realise that Beth is on her feet and she turns around into the GLAMSLAM and Beth covers for the pinfall

Result: Beth Phoenix pinned Kelly Kelly to win for her team

We now go backstage and see John Morrison walking out of the arena when he is confronted by his opponent for Backlash, Cody Rhodes, Rhodes says hes glad Morrison is going home and he says dont bother turning up at Backlash, because like Randy Orton and like Daniel Bryan , if he steps into that steel cage with him he will be found waiting at the crossrhodes. Morrison says see you sunday before leaving. The announce team preview the main event which is next and mention that one semi final has already been settled where John Morrison will take on Cody Rhodes inside a steel cage for a place in the final to crown a new WWE Unified World champion. They also say that the winner of the next match will take on Sheamus and that only one of five men can become the new champion

    **HERE TO SHOW THE WORLD**

The boos rain down as Vickie Guerrero accompanies her boyfriend Dolph Ziggler to the ring. The announce team put over how Ziggler likes to show off in the ring and how athletic the guy is

    **CULT OF PERSONALITY**

Former WWE Champion CM Punk makes his way down to the ring minus all the bandages that were present last week and the announce team say that they think Punk must be better than he was last week and that maybe he has the power to win here tonight but Cole disagrees and says Ziggler is definitely at his best having the match of the tournament so far with Samoa Joe last week and Punk cant think he will win he must know and will have to be at the top of his game to come out victorious.

Main Event I Singles Match I WWE Unified World Title Tournament Quarter Final

CM Punk v 'The Showoff' Dolph Ziggler w/ Vickie Guerrero

As the match begins both men stand centre of the ring talking trash back and for before Punk slaps the taste out of Zigglers mouth and the pair start to trade blows back and for and Punk gets the better before using a wristlock and then mule kicking Ziggler in the chest. Punk hits a snap suplex on Ziggler followed by a knee drop to the head of Ziggler. Punk picks up Ziggler and hits a diving cross body off the middle rope for a two count. Ziggler finally fights back and ducks a clothesline from Punk and locks in the SLEEPERHOLD, Ziggler tries to pull Punk down but Punk hits a jawbreaker and follows up wth a running leg lariat for another two count. Punk then hits a huge roundhouse kick that is heard around the arena and Punk climbs to the top of the turnbuckle and hits the huge ELBOW DROP and covers and Punk gets a one two threeeee....noooooo Ziggler gets the shoulder up. Punk cant beleive it and quickly locks in the ANACONDA VISE and he looks like making him tap out but Ziggler somehow rolls over and reaches the ropes with his hands. Punk reluctantly releases the hold. Punk hits an irish whip into the corner and hits the jumping knee to the face followed by a bulldog. Punk motions for Ziggler to GO TO SLEEP and lifts him up on his shoulders, Punk sends Ziggler over but Ziggler hits the FAMEASSER counter in midair and covers for a close count as Punk just gets his shoulder up. Ziggler is annoyed and cant believe it but he quickly hits a running dropkick to Punk sending him to the outside. Punk gets hit with a slingshot body vault from Ziggler and both men are down on the outside. Both men get to their feet and Punk gets whipped into the ringsteps before Ziggler chucks him into the ring. Ziggler covers for a two count. Vickie is screaming on the outside and Ziggler picks up Punk and puts him in the corner and lifts him to the top turnbuckle. Ziggler with a suplex off the top but Punk reverses and hooks both arms on the top rope but Vicke gets up on the apron and the distraction costs Punk who is back body dropped off the top rope. Ziggler awaits and hits the FAMEASSER from the top rope and covers for a very close two count ad noone can believe he kicked out of that one. ZIGZAG from Ziggler but Punk blocks it. Punk sends Ziggler into Vickie and Ziggler knocks her off the apron and turns around into a roundhouse kick but Ziggler ducks and hits the ZIGZAG. But another block and Punk hits the GO TO SLEEP but the referee is on the outside seeing to Vickie when Punk goes to see what the problem is Bully Ray comes out of nowhere and chucks his chain into Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler waits for Punk before levelling him with it chucking the chain out then hitting the ZIGZAG and covering Punk for the pinfall.

Result : Dolph Ziggler defeated CM Punk by pinfall

After the match Bully Ray is seen shouting abuse at Punk who is out cold and the announce team put over Ziggler picking up the win as Sheamus comes onto the stage and a staredown from ramp to ring is happening between Ziggler and Sheamus

Nice show, you got some vital contenders there for the UWTT, Now that you have added a few matches in I still think that CM Punk will be going out of the event as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Also knowing that it was a 3 hour show however a huge match card, I think maybe 10 matches is too much for 3 hours, that would be the length of a WrestleMania type of card. However I liked reading the AJ Styles and Jack Swagger match which was my favorite.

Yeah I was a bit worried about the amount of matches but some are really short such as Smith/Benjamin and Rhodes/Bryan whilst the Sheamus/Abyss match was also not too long, only other thing that bothers me is the amount of direct interference in the matches although I expect this month to have the highest as I build rivalries

Still havent decided on the competitors for the Barrett/Bryan elimination tag team match and might cross brand the teams

Currently ive got a couple of guys running around with injuries like Bryan, Punk and Henry and I made a decision on keeping Abyss strong, the guy wont be going for gold but wont be getting pinned weekly either

Smackdown will be started today after I only started and finished Raw yesterday. Picking it up for February and a huge tag match is set for Smackdown

    re: WWE 2012 - A New Direction

I'm usually not very into projects that feature a bunch of TNA guys coming into the WWE but I had to check this out since you're such a great contributor around this section. Lucky for you I was impressed! Lol

This who Undisputed World Champion tournament has been playing out well, Backlash should be a huge night! All young talents too, this is going to help them insanely! I loved Ziggler going over Punk, and Bully Ray getting involved was great! Bully Ray vs Punk is absolute money! Barrett and his guys attacking Bryan seemed a bit random as does a "Team" match on a Backlash card but I don't know their history and all. I'm interested to see who Bryan chooses since it seems Wade's team is already set. Bryan losing really upset me, so good job there. It shows that he's a fighter but he shouldn't have took the match after all that had already happened! I agree with the very wise Booker T here.

I love the Gabriel push! He's a great IC champion! The title prestige and Gabriel are both looking strong being put up against someone like Alberto Del Rio! Del Rio helping Helms get the win after being told he'll have to go up against him was smart, but shouldn't Del Rio be happy he gets an IC title shot? I do like that he seems to look at Gabriel as a threat though. Backlash looks great! Sheamus vs Cody in the finals would be perfect! Cage and Extreme Rules matches for the semi's seem a bit unneeded though if you ask me.

One thing I always see in BTB's so I understand you doing it but I never liked was the whole ***NAME OF MUSIC*** and describing the entrances, just seems to take up space.

    re: WWE 2012 - A New Direction

I've made it known that I'm not a huge fan of projects that stretch beyond my realm of imagination, but I'm going to try to get into this project because you've reached the point in your BTB where it's proven that it won't be a waste of time to get involved in. Also, like Kakarot said, your improvement has been tremendous and your contributions to the section haven't gone unnoticed.

In the first paragraph there were a few things that bother me, but if I have to point out how much of a basic grammar freak I am again I'll likely shoot myself in the foot. This is your warning "Tonights show" should be "Tonight's show", Smackdown should be capitalized...small things like that. Nobody is perfect and I'll refrain from saying anything else about the grammar the rest of the show, but just wanted to note to always glance over for small stuff like that when you're proofreading.

I didn't find anything particularly wrong with the opening segment except the formatting. Later on in the show you go on to make every other segment red, but I find changing colors in the same segment to be confusing. Solid opening segment to set up the opener, nice touch with Flair as the special ref.

Crowd is singular, therefore the crowd is going wild, they're not are going wild. I only point it out because it bothers me while reading, not trying to be a jerk or anything.

Really nice battle royal here and a nice end result. I feel like you're giving away a lot on this show, but I like the angle progression. You're doing that very well.

Not sure if I'm a fan of the big commercial graphic, writing it could suffice.

I love that Gabriel is the IC Champion...but African Air made me laugh a little bit Overall, yet another solid match.

I think the show could definitely benefit from a few more segments beyond general backstage comments and interviews. You had a nice opening segment but not much in the way of unique scenarios. The backstage brawl was a nice touch., but it could have definitely used a bit more spice to it. If someone got put through a windshield they'd probably be hugely damaged or on the verge of being written out(Unless you're Zack Ryder....that's a different story), so maybe a followup to that or some added description would help to improve the quality of the segment.

Yeah, alright, overall this was a really solid job and HUGE steps forward from what you've done in the past. Keep this up, keep some of the stuff I mentioned in mind and you'll grow in absolutely no time.

    Good luck. I'll be reading.

Yeah Im using this tournament to create new rivalries, its a bt lazy but it can work given the right decisions. Ziggler needed to go over someone big going into Backlash as did all the tournament semifinalists bar Sheamus who is already a main eventer. Rhodes had Orton, Ziggler had Punk and Morrison beat Henry and Miz, I already had the Punk Ray match planned so I thought Punk would be the best solution to give Ziggler the rub, Punk needs to be away from the title scene for a while

Barrett only wants to be world champion and Bryan cost him that so thats why the attck took place, the tag champs are in title action so only maybe Morgan is set for Barretts team, all will be revealed on Smackdown

With Gabriel im still not 100% on whether he gets the midcard push long term, with him and Helms getting wins over more established stars I have to wonder whether to ditch the CW title I only just brought back or make them the cornerstones

Gimmicky PPV but all PPVs wont be like that this is just to get me off to a good start

The music and entrance stuff is just habit

Ill try to pick up on the grammar, I dont take it a harsh just constructive, thanks for the pointers

Yeah I kind of messed it up a bit with the coloured segments

Haha glad you liked the battle royal but I aint planned anything yet, the Kidd/Hart team is still going to be strong, I cant afford to break up many tag teams if im keeping the division strong

After reading the post through again I agree the commercial graphic kind of ruins the text

African Air, hey its the truth and i wanted to be a little creative, sounded better than the African superstar, Gabriel seems to be a big hit, a flying superstar ala Jeff Hardy, he might not get the big push everyone wants but its early days

And I do want to add some variety to the segments especially some comedy, SD nearly done so the Raw after Backlash will be revamped. And yeah this guy is Daniel 'Freaking' Bryan, he walks through glas to be in the ring.

Seeing a lot of love for Cody in this BTB, he is a big part of my BTB too. No flash in the pan main eventer. Thats all im saying on that

first off, good decision to go for a rematch between Bryan and Barrett for the 2nd round

wow quite unexpected results with the tournament, i frankly thought CM Punk was the front runner, but the last four all look very unexpected, though definitely they are champion material. I am counting a Ziggler v Rhodes final.

i read the Battle Royal name as "Over the top" battle royal and thought it might be some gimmick one lol. The show overall was heavy on matches expectedly and i would have liked one or two promo segments too. The backstage promos kinda made up for it though.

also, is your Backlash card final yet?

Not sure yet, it might be. I already got 8 including a 10 man elimnation, ladder, cage, tag turmoil and extreme rules. For a three hour show might be pushing it or do you think I could squeeze another in. I wasnt sure to be honest

    re: WWE 2012 - A New Direction

Live from Raleigh, North Carolina @ The RBC Center

A video recap plays showing what went down on the Raw supershow this monday and how Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes, John Morrison and Sheamus qualified for the semi finals of the Backlash tournament

The pyros go off on the stage and we are brought to the announce table of Josh Matthews, Booker T and Michael Cole. Matthews welcomes us and runs down the events of monday night also mentioning
    **SMOKE AND MIRRORS**
plays and Cody Rhodes, the Dashing One makes his way down to the ring grinning ear to ear. The announce team mention how Rhodes defeated an already battered and bruised Daniel Bryan. Booker T sticks up for Rhodes surprisngly by saying at the top of the pyramid its anybodys game and the guy with the least friends is usually the guy with the most gold. Rhodes goes over how all before him have fallen into the crossrhodes and how after Drew Mcintyre, Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan all became just another notch that the WWE are trying to screw him over by placing him inside a steel cage against John Morrison, a match where Morrison can flee like a coward and win.
    **AINT NO MAKE BELIEVE**
This immediately brings Morrison out. Morrison says he didnt get this far in the tournament by running away and he certainly didnt get the money in the bank briefcase by running away. He says that he is the guru of greatness, the prince of parkour and definitely the shaman of sexy and this sunday he will beat Cody Rhodes and become the new WWE champion.
    **WRITTEN IN MY FACE**
plays and the powerful irishman Sheamus makes his way down to the ring and quickly mentions that the two of them are forgetting, that its not only them two in this tournament and Sheamus says he will become the new WWE champion as he has been there done it and neither of the guys in the ring have.
    **HERE TO SHOW THE WORLD**
plays and the showoff Dolph Ziggler makes his way down to the ring accompanied by Vickie Guerrero and they are booed to the high heavens and Ziggler says it doesnt matter who has done what because he is simply the best in the business and noone can beat him, he mentions how he already put out the former WWE champion and how he will first beat Sheamus in the Extreme Rules match and then he doesnt care who he faces because only he will be climbing that ladder and claiming the title that his talent deserves. All four men are bickering when
    **SEXY BOY**
plays and HBK quickly eners the ring and says nobody is doing anything right here because he needs to keep everyone fresh for sunday. He says that he started this tournament to crown a new champion not to see half his stars get injured.
    **SUPERNATURAL**
plays and WWE Cruiserweight champion Gregory Helms makes his way down to the ring. He moans that he never even had a chance in the WWE title tournament yet he has beaten Daniel Bryan, Big Show and Justin Gabriel, three men who did over the last three weeks. HBK says that Helms recent doings havent been going unnoticed but also his hands are tied with regards to the WWE title as all matches are set and we are only two days away from the PPV. He does however have a title match for Helms, a title defense against not one but three opponents, that should test how good Helms really is when he isnt being helped and that match will be up next. He also says that tonights main event will see Dolph Ziggler team with Cody Rhodes to take on John Morrison and Sheamus.

The commentators go over the opening of the show and the blockbuster main event as **J-POP DROP** hits and Yoshi Tatsu makes his way down to the ring to a lot of fan fair. The commentators talk about the popularity of Tatsu and the audience he brings from his homeland week in week out. **SAY IT TO MY FACE** hits and Alex Riley makes his way down to the ring and he talks to Helm before both get booed as they lay siege to Tatsu. They stomp and punch Tatsu till he slumps into the corner but Sin Cara rushes down and the bell rings
Match One I WWE Cruiserweight Title I Fatal Four Way Match

Gregory Helms (c) v Sin Cara v Yoshi Tatsu v Alex Riley
