Storyline
After Thunder falling to the hands Memphis Grizzle in the 2011 playoffs, a change was promised to happen when general manger Sam Presti stepped down and a new General Manger was hired and his name was Jonathan Willis. Willis promised change and that OKC just needed a little push that will allow the team to move on to the next level and win the NBA Finals. During the summer Willis came through on his promise to bring change as he made a block buster deal to bring Dwight Howard to the Thunder. The Thunder traded recently acquired Kendrick Perkins, Serge Ibaka and James Harden and a 1st round draft pick to the Orlando Magic for Dwight Howard. Change was promised and Willis delivered by bringing in one of the top centers of this decade. The Oklahoma City Thunder look to wreck havoc in the western conference with their big three Durant, Westbrook and Dwight Howard.
