Chuck Liddell...THE ICEMAN...Chuck Liddell, is now officially retired. But, with a passion for Mixed Martial Arts running through his veins and a few friends, a number with large amounts of money he had decided to open up an independent promotion. Due to still being on good terms with UFC, he has been allowed to work with a number of their fighters but will only be allowed to do so with permission from Dana White. He named the project: Liddell Fight Club.

With the first show being labelled: The Fire Show. Set for the 8th of January 2011.

Dan Henderson currently working with Strikeforce, is rumoured to be taking part in "The Fire Show" first event. Who he will face is unknown, but it is believed that the man that last fought in UFC with a victory of Michael Bisping is highly likely to compete.
