Just wanna let y'all Gentlement know! I beat both Emerald and Ruby!

Took me getting three characters to level 99, hours or Source farming, and mastering an assload of Materia. Hell, I did it baby!

Forgive me because I'm like way behind the times with gaming. By PC, you mean Personal Computer? Do you need the Big computer or can you play on a lap top? If so, I'll look at getting them. I also read they have Final Fantasy VII on PC and you can do the W Item clutch with Sources. That would save me a lot of time when grinding.

Played some Donkey Kong Country last night, and never realised how easy it was. 40 mins of gaming and 30% completed. If I was younger I wouldn't consider this a 2/3 hour game.

    Re: Currently Playing

I'm starting the Legend of Zelda franchise for the first time. My best friends have all loved the Legend of Zelda games, I didn't have the Nintendo so I never played LoZ as a kid, and where I was older I was put off by the fact Link as a main character doesn't talk, or internally monologue through dialogue I could read to understand him, or seem to have a personality of his own in these games. As someone who is largely character and story driven, from playing so many rpg's and then with metal gear solid, and other series I could never get on the hype train for the LoZ series. Even older games have done the mute protagonist thing, but still got the message across reasonably well. If it plays out with a suikoden, or breath of fire, feel despite the mute lead than it should be all right, so I decided to give it a go, and if I don't like the games oh well

    I have
    Skyward sword
    Ocarina of time
Wind Waker and Twilight princess at present to start I haven't actually decided which game to start with yet but Ocarina seems to be the favourite of the series, so perhapd that one.

I also started the Tomb Raider 20 year anniversary second game for the reboot. And so far I really like this one as well, and it really feels more like the old tomb raider too with the puzzles in this one.

Get 101% percent without a guide. Then come back and talk to us. Then play number 2. It's way harder.

Slashers is the worst adversary mode, no the worst game mode in general, in this entire game. It's terrible and the payouts even for x2 money are terrible.

    There's better stuff.

Currently bouncing back between Overwatch, Super Mario Odysee, GTAV and Friday The 13th. Tempted to break open Zelda Breath Of The Wild but I think I'm stretched too thin.

We still haven't played Friday The 13th together.

I'm installing COD WW2 on my console while I go to bed. Gonna play it when I wake up. Mostly the campaign, might try online out for a couple matches after I finish it but I can't see myself getting into that as much as I have for the older CODs. This is still the first COD I've gotten since Ghosts. I like modern weapons and fighting the best. Too old or too futuristic is not my style. In fact Black Ops 1 has been my favorite COD game of all time, really just loved everything about that game. Black Ops 2 was alright but it got a little carried away.

Decided to replay Telltale TWD series starting with season 1. I believe the TT games are getting pretty meh but I'm trying to motivate myself to play The New Frontier.

    Re: Currently Playing

I don't get the appeal of these telltale games. Is there any skill involved at all?

They seem boring as hell. They seem like interactive films.

    Am I way off here?

I mean yeah they're basically interactive movies but the whole point of the experience is the story

Those games don't sound like they are for me at all. Sounds like the experience can be viewed on youtube.

Not at all. If I'm playing an RTS, the experience is dictated by strategies that you apply to the game. Therefore every game can be different and have a different experience.

Same thing applies to a First Person shooter in an arena setting. Even a single player campaign is different since you actually apply skill.

Unless there is some sort of skill applied to these telltale games that I'm missing. Like I said I never played them so I could be totally off.

    Re: Currently Playing

It's not a skill game is the point you're missing

It's like a choose your own adventure book where you can affect the story
