Southampton should definitely not go for Tuschel. Given how and why he left Dortmund, that wouldn't be the smartest of hirings.

Dont take this the wrong way but I've said all along on several Scottish football forums I post on, I just don't see why mcinnes would want the job. He's done fantastic at Aberdeen (look where they were) and he deserves in my eyes a crack at a club at least the size and expectations of a massive club like Everton if not bigger still. But because he's Scottish and only in SPL no one better will touch him. So Sunderland come along and he rightly turns them down. If this was football climate 15-20 years ago Spurs/Liverpool would hire him.

McInnes is just waiting for Rangers to sack undercover brother Pedro.

    Re: Managerial Comings & Goings

The reason i've heard is he was unsure if this takeover happens at Sunderland then would they want him or their own person in place.

I'm just sick of Short now and there not being someone high up who gets the area and what that team means to the city, Niall got it and Murray before him got it, we aren't stupid, all we want is a team that plays for the shirt and the city, we know we're never going to be league champions and fighting for Europe all we want is effort and giving their all for Sunderland and recently that hasn't happened bar a couple of players.

I love the bloke because he's a former Albion captain, but so many of our fans want him in as the next Albion boss and I just don't see what's so great about him as a manager. Would of preferred him to take the Sunderland job so I could of kept a closer eye on him.

Same up here, plenty of people wanted him in at Rangers when Warburton left. I was quite glad he never got it.

If and when he gets another job in England he'll back up in Scotland within 12 months, 18 tops.

    Re: Managerial Comings & Goings

I mean, he's done a great job at Aberdeen tbh. They're the second best team in Scotland under him, he delivered them their first trophy in like 20 years and has brought them back into Europe. He's brought the buzz back for Aberdeen, I guess. Everyone up there seems to love him and are right into their team nowadays. They had some season this year but it'll fall under the radar cause Celtic blew everyone else away with ease. But he did well to take Aberdeen to two cup finals and finish second this year.

I think he's probably found his level but I think his time at Aberdeen has probably helped him grow as a manager and he could probably do something decent. Definitely think Rangers would've done much better last season with him fwiw... though I think most Rangers fans were hoping they got him so Aberdeen got weakened but I could be wrong.

Any Rangers fan that doesn't want Mcinnes strikes me as bitter tbh. From looking into Pedros career he looks more like a Le Guen or Deila character than someone actually take the club forward. Rangers have spent bigger so far this summer (altho you have to remember Rangers were due to pay Preston another £800k-£900k this summer as another Garner instalment so they've basically used that money to bring in players experts up here are calling past its/duds.) i said Aberdeen would finish above rangers last season and had Robbie Neilson stayed at hearts so would they. Europa league qualifiers will be telling. I expect Aberdeen to go further than rangers and finish above them but if rangers do better in the quals I could be wrong.

How am I bitter for not wanting McInnes as manager :D Which "experts" are calling the players we're bring in duds? I can also guarantee you we were not due to pay Preston 800-900K installment for a player whose total fee was £1.8M because that's not how installments work.

So much nonsense in the one post.

A wild Jupp Heynckes has appeared and taken charge at Bayern.

Thought he retired when Pep took over haha, it'll work for Bayern though, without doubt.
