WWE World Title, A Crowning Achievement?

Is it safe to say that big men in the WWE have more advantages over the smaller ones?

Sheamus and Swagger for instance both won the World Title and Drew McIntyre might be the next in line. Now, The Miz, Christian, Morrison, Matt Hardy, are all pretty popular with the wrestling fans, good on the mic and decent wrestlers. However, even though they're more talented and are bigger draws, their climb to the top is a lot more difficult when compared to some of the big men in the wwe.

Yet, taller wrestlers don't even have to be over with the fans to win the World Championship. I know theres some good reasons for it, but how fair is it for a wrestling superstars, that has worked long and hard and has waited patiently to reach the top, to see a newcomer walk in and win the World Title in just a couple of years into his career?

Even though some smaller wrestlers have been world champs, it still doesn't take away the fact that they need to be a draw and have more talent to be deserving enough to be champions.

One would think that the WWE World Title is a crowning achievement for a wrestler, for all his hard work and dedication, but even if a wrestlers waits patiently for his moment that doesn't guarantee he will be rewarded with the World Championship.

From a fan perspective it sucks to follow a wrestler and never see him fulfilled his potential. Its like watching a T.V. series following a character only to see him die at the end. could've would've should've.

    What's your take on this?

I don't know the situation that these guys are in behind the scenes. Having worked professionally for a few years in one area of the entertainment industry, however, it can be any number of things that sets you back or advances you quickly. It can be politics, ass-kissing, or some people are just better at their jobs than others. It can be quite frustrating being on the outside looking in though.

While it is frustrating to see guys like Christian not having been World Champion, it is also not a given getting a World Title just because you have been there a long time. The thing is, Vince has and will always prefer the bigger guys, regardless of the situation.

I still think though at some point Christian will win either the WWE or World Titles. The thing with Matt Hardy is that it seems to me like even though he is popular and over, he isn't necessarily the reason anyone goes to see Smackdown. He is kind of like a bonus on the card, but not someone you would go for, because they were headlining the show.

I thought it was a well known fact that Bigger guys in general have a much better chance of winning the World title than Smaller guys. It just seems as if Vince naturally loves bigger guys to smaller guys since they look like more credible champions Whereas Smaller guys such as Christian, Matt etc... Look like more credible US/IC champions.I mean this was Big issue when Khali was champion. He's one of the worst wrestler we've seen in ages but just taking one look at him you would understand that yeah he looked like a world champion.

This isn't new nor is it bound to the WWE. Big guys are just bigger draws and more believable as the top guy.

It's unfortunate, but to be honest the WWE are actually better at pushing small wrestlers than people give them credit for. Despite the crappy booking Rey's title run was a big sucess. Jeff Hardy can't even talk on the mic but was the top babyface in the company for a while. Jericho is very small for a heavyweight. etc.
