Looking forward to Bordeaux/Lyon, and Arsenal/Barca. Expecting Inter and Man United to go through with relative ease. Also expect Barca to win...but will probably be the most entertaining of the games.

2-1 was probably about right tonight. Our defending at times was really sloppy, United were second best to most of the lose balls in or around the penalty area. I also felt we scored too early. Whenever you score in the first few mins there's a tendancy to sit back a little knowing you've already got the goal advantage.

Rooneys injury is worrying for the title run in. Hopefully it's nothing too serious.

How coincidental that Bayern scored too late goals in a champions league match against Man U.....

Anyway Even though i don't care too much for Man U its always bad to see a Player get injured. Hopefully Rooney gets better soon.

Nah, it just makes it even sweeter when we stick one past them in the 93rd min of the second leg to knock them out.

I only saw the last half hour of the game, but in that half hour United looked terrible tonight.

Giving away possession constantly. Horrible goals conceded. And I'm not sure why Fergie changed it to 4-4-2 when we were 1-0 up and should have just been sitting tight with the 4-5-1 formation and settled for that lead, or at worst a draw. I can't guarantee it'd have worked out that way but I reckon there was a good chance.

Rooney should have scored his second chance in the first half really. I think if he hit that first time, it's a goal. Munich missed plenty of good chances too though so can't say much about that.

    And he scores goals...!

What were Man U's defense doing in that 2nd goal? Seems they didn't know where the ball went. Anyway Bayern have a lot to still do at OT, hopefully they can finish the job.

Big Arsenal game tomorrow, can't wait for it!

lol at it being Gary Neville to make such a stupid mistake. Probably the most expierenced outfield player on the pitch and he does something that a rookie would do. I missed the first 20 minutes but from what I seen the first half looked pretty even but the second half was nearly all Bayern. van der Sar again kept United in it. Going to be tough to replace him when he calls it a day which I imagine will be next summer. More important than that though is Rooney missing the Chelsea game and almost definitly the second leg. Hard to see where exactly the goals are going to come from, especially against Chelsea. Rooney usually plays a part in the goals even if he doesnt score it himself.

Man we (Arsenal) are getting dominated so far. We are giving the ball away every time we get it. We could easily be down by 4 goals. Almunia is just crazy in goal.

What happens if Man U. beats Bayern by a single goal and the aggregate is tied?

Not sure if I like that.. I'd rather see a shootout or golden goal scenario.

2-1 to United will see 30 minutes extra time then if needed penalties.

Barca havent been miles better but they have been so much quicker closing down that we cant get anything going. When we do get forward we're getting good balls into the box and Bendtner should have scored a few minutes before the second.

Walcott just showed why he should have started. Two minutes on and he had one chance to put Bendtner in and put one in. Somehow, we've been playing better since they went 2-0 up.
