Walcott is finally finding some form. Against Stoke he was pretty good but today he was great and caused Burnley all kinds of problems from start to finish. A well taken goal will hopefully spur him on to score more. Great goals from Arshavin and Fabregas aswell. Thats Fabregas's 17th of the season which is a brilliant return for a central midfielder who has been injured for a good portion of the season. Had van Persie been in place of Bendtner, he would have scored about six goals. I credit Bendtner for his commitment as he just kept going no matter how bad it got, on another day he would have scored at least three of them, just a really bad day for him, hopefully thats it out of his system and he'll bang them in against Porto.

Good to see Wilshere on the scoresheet for Bolton aswell. I was hoping Wolves would do us a favour but really they would have needed a miracle to win. 1-0 is a very good result for them.

Who's their game in hand against?

Vital victory for United yesterday. There were times during the game that I didn't think we were going to score. I thought we should have had a penalty during the first half, Gibson was man handled to the floor.

Berbatov looked good, but the system doesn't play to his strengths. He can't play the lone striker because he likes to wonder off and link the play (which he does very well). As soon as Diouf came on it suited him more and we looked like scoring.

Wolves and Sam Vokes will be kicking themselves. He should have equalised late on. I still can't believe he missed the target.

Like God, I'd say Bendtner deserves a lot of credit for his display yesterday. It's too easy to criticise someone who doesn't score, but at least he kept getting into those positions. I'd be more worried if my striker wasn't getting into goal scoring positions.

With Arsenals win it's mega tight at the top. We have to beat Liverpool and Chelsea in the next few weeks - anything less than wins could mean we finish as low as third come the end of the season. The last thing we want is to start qualifying for the Champions League in August straight after a World Cup.

I'm not sure - you might be right. I think it depends on how well teams from that country do in the tournament the previous year. Liverpools early exit this season won't help too much.

We now have games in hand against Everton and Tottenham, both at home, neither of which has a midweek game this week.

the Everton game is from the opening week of the season and theres been plenty of chances to have the game, finally they have put the game on March 24th.

I didn't realise the Europa League is back this week, so I've added those games to this weeks discussion too.

Listend to the game on the radio - didn't pay too much attention during the second half. Had to laugh when Wigan scored - I think there'd be more noise from a crowd watching a Sunday league side. You'd have never have guessed Wigan had scored.

You do realise that if they do win, you’ll see it as a personal duty to go to every match between now and the end of the season.

I'm flabbergasted Liverpool lost to Wigan, they're probably the worst team I've seen at that level, at least on a par with the Sunderland team who went down with a record low of points.

Typical Blues, losing in the cup then winning down Portsmouth in the league. Being a Bluenose is not exactly glorious, I tell you..

Anyone watching Liverpool or Fulham tonight?

I can't be bothered to watch Liverpool. It seems strange to watch a football match at 6pm on a week day.
