Did Bryan Danielson Have The Perfect Debut?

    - He was made to seem a much bigger deal than most of the other rookies.
    - He was treated as an almost equal to the world champion.
    - He was involved in the most segments.
    - He's the only rookie with an angle, unless you count Punk's dissapointment with his.
    - He got to be himself.
    - They acknowledged life outside of WWE and didn't pretend he was wrestling for the first time.
    - The issues about him having a "lack of personality" were proven to be exaggerated and it's quite clear anyone thought that because of the contrast with his obnoxious mentor.
    - The commentary, shoot or not, put him over huge.
    - Everything involving him was booked incredibly well in his favour.

Seriously, was there anything wrong with this debut at all? Not that I've seen anyone complain, but I don't think Danielson fans could have anything to complain about. Any mistakes were only minor and didn't affect anything greatly. Not to mention, it's got everyone talking and looking forward to next week.

Yeah, no doubt. WWE must really be high on the guy,

They pretty much got over everything about Danielson in his whole career, in that one show. They showcased his background, wrestling ability, mic skills, etc.

Even for non-Danielson fans or guys that haven't seen his work, it's good to see on a mainstream stage.

Yeah, pretty much what was said, he had an awesome debut.

It's not some ridiculous too fast push and it's not the generic boring jobber push. He's a big deal for the C show already and that's awesome.

Yeah, it was a pretty big and effective way to debut the guy. Better than I expected by a long ways.

Bryan had an awesome debut. Who knows if that was the plan the whole time, or if it was sparked by people on the internet hating the idea of Miz mentoring him, and then the WWE took it and ran with it. I'm definitely looking forward to watching this series.

I can't imagine WWE would have put him with Miz expecting anything less than overwhelming backlash from his fans, which worked.

Yeah so far it seems there proving me wrong (which I hope they do) but lets see how he does on the big shows, plus i doubt they would of had the champ there to wrestle him if it was taker, batista, or another larger wrestler!

I say it was one of the better debuts I have seen. I can see Danielson being the man who takes the US title off of The Miz in the near future (possibly at Mania).

He looked so good against Jericho. Forgivable blunders on the mik, which was over all fine, considering his obvious nerves. Great debut, but got to give prop's to the Miz. He was so on that he made Danielson look so good as a face next to him. Not to say Danielson didn't nail it on his own merit, it just all came together as a whole.

but for all of this mania questions, i think there going to try to legitimize the nxt format i doubt you won't see anyone from that show on ppv or other wwe programming until they win the show.

It went very well, but would've went over better without Michael Cole crapping on his indy background.
