February 24th 2010 - Uprising - Live from Sydney, Australia

Fans are packed in Stadium Australia tonight for Uprising. The show is immediately celebrated by a massive amount of fireworks from the top of the entrance ramp. The pyro is ignited for a good ten seconds before ending. The camera follows through the about 50,000 fans, locating signs such as "Proud Rainbow", "Alexa's baby daddy", "Arse-hole", "I came to get a Mouthful", and much more. We go to Harvey Buckworth and Jim Taylor for the greeting.

Harvey Buckworth: Ladies and gentlemen, g'day to ya! Welcome to CWA's first major pay per view of the calendar year of 2010! This is Uprising! And we are live from the Capital city of a fine continent in Australia! This is our CWA debut in Sydney! Along side me is my commentary partner, Jim Taylor!

Jim Taylor: I'm surprised I was able to make it here on time! I have been sight seeing all day!

Harvey Buckworth: Well, you are about to see some great contests tonight. The card is filled with contests of grudges Jim! The highlight of the two being Nikolas Kennedy Arsen taking on the World Champion Roberto, one more time for the championship belt! Not to exclude Logan V and Joey Nicholas going at it with literally EVERYTHING ON THE LINE! But we go to our associate Lindsay Monahan for the introduction of our first match of the night, not to mention, the first title match of the night!

Lindsay Monahan: SYDNEY! WELCOME TO THE SECOND ANNUAL CWA UPRISING!
The crowd roars in excitement as they are ready for an innovative and amazing night.

Lindsay Monahan: The following is your opening contest! It is a tag team contest scheduled for one fall, with the CWA World Tag Team Championships ON THE LINE!

The crowd was hyped for the announcement that the tag team titles were being held at stake, but not as much as they were when "Boomer Kuwanger" hit the PA system. Jackson Sonik and Deportista came down to the ring more energized then they have ever been since entering CWA. They slap hands with every fan possible.

Lindsay Monahan: First, the challengers! From Planet Pop Star, they are Jackson Sonik and Deportista, A MOUTHFUL OF AWESOME!

Once Deportista and Jackson got into the ring, they were met with the streamer treatment! Jackson happily posed for the fans as Deportista tried to put his cape on acting referee Billy Stevens. Los Calavera then made their way down to "Rough Landing Holly" to just as big of reaction as their challengers. Miss Tyler came down the ramp to watch her clients play to the fans. Julio even let a small fan hold his tag team belt. They also entered the ring to streamers.

Lindsay Monahan: Being accompanied by Miss Tyler, they represent The Lost Souls Alliance! They are the CWA World Tag Team Champions, Julio and Jose Domino, LOS CALAVERA!

Billy Stevens took the belts and rose him above his head. The two teams shook hands before making their way to their respected corners. The bell rang. Jackson Sonik emerges from his comer to start this off with one half of the current tag champions, Julio Domino. The two circle around each other to rival chants of "Lets go Dominos" and "Lets go Mouthful". Julio extends his hand once more and Jackson gladly shakes it.

Harvey Buckworth: Nice showing of respect from the two. You see that too often. Especially lately in the CWA.

Jim Taylor: Give it some time and they will be at each others throats in no time.

Lindsay Monahan: Here are your winners, and the NEEEEW CWA Tag Team Champions......A Mouthful of Awesome!

Deportista is handed his newly won CWA World Tag Team Championship but he is so worn out that he cant even stand up to fully take it all in and instead remains on his back with the title held close to his chest. Everyone in attendance is on their feet and cheering for all four men. Sonik is hurting on the outside while Jose has yet to move. Julio isn’t in much better shape as he is only now starting to stir. Miss Tyler crawls into the ring to check on Julio and she is soon joined by Logan V in street clothes. Deportista finally gets back to his feet and is straight over to check on his opponent. Deportista offers his hand to help Julio up but Logan blindsides him with a right hand. Logan helps Julio back to his feet but then stuns the fans in Australia by hitting Julio with a low bow! Even Miss Tyler cant believe what has just happened. Logan pulls Julio to his feet and positions for the End of the Line but quickly changes his mind and bails out of the ring when another Logan storms the ring. The first Logan drops to the outside and gets his jaw jacked by Jackson Sonik who then rips off the mask to reveal Steve Osborn. The real Logan goes to the outside for answers but instead gets a steel chair across the back from his opponent later tonight, Joey Nicholas, who snuck in through the crowd. Sonik and Nicholas trade blows until Osborn hits Sonik from behind. Nicholas quickly grabs the chair again and introduces it to the head of Sonik. Deportista and Julio Domino charge for Nicholas and Osborn but they are too late as they make their escape via the crowd. Julio checks on Logan before quickly heading around to check on Jose while Deportista tries to revive Sonik.

Meanwhile, In the arena back lot, Don de Vries loosens up for his match by kicking a rugby ball back and forth with one of the roadies. As he catches it, Orlando Maxwell approaches him for an interview.

Orlando: Don, with Uprising about to begin, we still have no real info on the whereabouts of Anna Williams.

    Don punts the ball away

Don: Ah yes- Anna Williams. She’s almost ready to return, we just need to get one little thing cleared away. You see, in me Anna’s found something she could never get from an “underdog”. Someone to do it real good, do it like nobody else can- I rock her, roll her all night long, I’m a sixty minute man! But she’s kind of worried about how things may end up around here, with Nero still hanging around and all. So tonight, in that very ring, I’m going to set him up with a very special kind of retirement package.

Orlando: Which kind would that be?

    Don: The mandatory kind.

Orlando: So you’re really certain of a decisive victory then?

Don: Certain? Have you had a look at Nero lately? I’m surprised Angelina Jolie hasn’t tried to adopt his bony ass! When I get out there, oh baby: I’m the brawn and the brain, the sugar and the spice; I’ll mess Nero up bad, but do it ever so nice!

Orlando: If I may ask, what’s with the jive talking, have you been studying under Dusty Rhodes?

Don: Pshhhh, Dusty wishes he were me. But anyway, this being Black History month, I’m doing a tribute to the most prominent African American poet.

    Orlando: You mean Maya Angelou?

Don: Hell no, I’m talking about Rudy Ray Moore.

    Orlando: Who?

    Don: You know, “Dolomite, mothafu-”

Orlando: Oh, right. Well, good luck in your match tonight.

Orlando turns to walk away; off-camera, we hear Don

    Don: Hey, Orlando!

    Orlando turns around

    Don: Catch!

Don punts the rugby ball right into Orlando, knocking him to one knee. Don begins laughing hysterically, as Orlando shuffles away.

In another backstage area in Sydney Alexa’s baby shower is getting started. Alexis has decorated one of the spare locker-rooms to create a friendly environment. Toxic Rain and Miss Tyler are seated on a couch beside each other but they are refusing to talk to one another. Lacey is seated on a stool on the other side of the room while Victoria Stone look very bored as she wanders aimlessly around the room trying to kill time. A knock at the door interrupts the silence and Alexis suddenly appears to quickly open the door. On the other side of the door is a very smug looking Michelle Kelly.

Michelle Kelly: I thought I wasn’t invited? Why the sudden change of heart?

Alexis: You weren’t invited but then I realized Alexa has no friends so that’s the only reason you are here. Sit down and shut up.

Michelle Kelly: You’re such a welcoming host.

Alexis shoves Michelle towards the seating area as she closes the door again and returns to making her last minute preparations as we return to ringside for the next match of the evening.

    Grudge Match

    Don deVries vs. Nero James

Both competitors are now in the ring, and the ref calls for the bell. Smirking, Don crouches and motions for Nero to “Come here”. This sets Nero off, and he charges furiously over and hits a Thez press on Don, taking him to the mat. Nero unloads with a fury of strikes, but Don covers up with one arm, and grabs the bottom rope with the other, and Nero gets up at the ref’s count of three. Don pulls himself up off the ground, and Nero meets him with a running knee to the gut. He pushes Dong against the ropes going for an Irish whip, but Don reverses it and whips him. Don crouches down, waiting to attack, but Nero leapfrogs him, hits the topes, and takes him down with a baseball slide to the leg. Nero gets back up, and delivers an elbow drop to the prone Don de Vries, before whaling on him with a series of hammer fists. The ref counts him back up, and he whips Don into the corner, and follows up with a leaping knee strike. Don staggers groggily out of the corner, and Nero climbs the turnbuckle. Don turns around, and Nero swoops in with a missile dropkick- but Don instinctively swats him to the ground!

Don takes a moment to gain his bearings, and as he sees Nero getting back up, he lowers his shoulder and charges him into the corner, delivering a series of thrusts to the ribs. Nero slumps down in the corner; Don pulls him out, and delivers a gut wrench suplex. Turning Nero on his stomach, Don mounts him, grabs his hair, and delivers a trio of cross face forearms. Don gets up at the refs count, but immediately goes back to work, hooking Nero in the camel clutch. Nero struggles in the hold for a bit, before getting his feet under him, and countering with a jawbreaker.

Nero stands by the ropes; Don charges him, but Nero vaults himself up, and catches Don with a head scissors takedown, swinging him down against the middle rope. Nero bounds against the opposite ropes, and lands a guillotine leg drop. Clutching his throat, Don staggers into the middle of the ring; Nero steps onto the ring apron, and hits a springboard forearm smash. He hooks Don’s leg for the cover, getting a two count. Nero gets up, and begins to hook Don’s legs for the sharpshooter, but Don pushes him away; Nero approaches again, and Don takes him down with a drop toehold. Don gets up, and proceeds to stomp vigorously about Nero’s person; Nero crawls to the bottom rope, where Don pulls him up, whips him into the corner, and follows up with a body splash. He lays into Nero with a series of hard backhand chops, then lifts him for a scoop slam- but Nero swings around and counters with a DDT! After a quick pin attempt, both men get up, and Nero takes Don back down with a neck breaker. Nero backs up to the other side of the ring, and as Don gets up, he charges at him and connects with a leg lariat, knocking him right out of the ring! Don stands dazed on the floor, and Nero bounds off the ropes, dives through the ropes, and hits a tope! Both men now lie on the floor, and the ref begins his count. Nero is the first to stir, and as he slides into the ring, Don gets to his feet. Still being aggressive, Nero launches heaves himself over the rope, going for a cross-body plancha- but Don catches him! Holding him horizontally, Don rams him into the ring post!

Don rolls briefly under the rope to stop the ref’s count, but rolls right back out. He grabs Nero by the legs, then rocks back and slingshots him into the ring post, bouncing him off the metal in a hideous way! Don then drags Nero and heaves him into the ring, before getting in himself. Nero tries to get up under his own power, but Don soon pulls him up, and launches him with a big belly to belly suplex. He covers Nero, and gets a two count. Don gets up, and lifts Nero horizontally across his chest; he raises him up, and brings him down hard across his leg with a rib breaker; without releasing him, he gets back to his feet, and tosses Nero back with a fall away slam. He goes for the cover again, getting a two count. Don is tossing Nero about like a rag doll, and it appears the momentum has totally shifted. Pulling Nero off the ground, Don places him in a double under hook, and lights him up with a series of hard knees to the face, before lifting him and planting him with a dragonfly suplex. Nero lies in a heap on the mat, and Don gets in his face, shouting “Who’s the man?!” Don grabs Nero, and scoops him onto his shoulder- he’s going to try and finish it here- but Nero slides off his back! Don turns around and Nero desperately goes for a kick- but it’s too slow, and Don catches his foot, and kicks Nero’s base leg from under him. Don delivers an elbow drop to Nero’s leg, then turns him over, puts on a toehold, then wraps him up around the neck, sinking in a side-mount STS. Nero struggles against the hold, but Don’s immense strength seems to overcome him, and the life begins to fade from his eyes. The ref raises his arm and lets it drop …one… Nero seems unable to respond … two… The ref raises his arm for the final time … and Nero holds it up! He reaches down to whatever strength reserves he has, and begins to wheel himself around. He’s giving up 80 lbs to his opponent, but slowly he turns his body- and hooks his leg on the bottom rope!

Don releases the hold, and walks to the corner. He squats down, waiting for Nero to get up. Nero does, and Don charges in, going for a spear- but Nero side steps him! Don catches himself on the ropes, and goes back over to Nero, who elbows him in the face. Nero lands a series of punches, before throwing a pair of kicks at Don’s leg, than another pair to his midsection, before finally flooring him with a kick to the head! Nero runs off the ropes, and hits a leg drop on deVries, gets back up, and goes back off the ropes, this time hitting a knee drop. He then goes to the opposite ropes, steps onto the apron, and lands a heelo senton. Nero covers Don, getting a two count.

Nero again grabs Don by the legs, going for a Boston crab, but Don powerfully shoves him back. Don rolls backwards up and onto his feet, then runs at Nero and hits an Axe Bomber lariat! He covers Nero: One …Two … and Nero kicks out! Don pulls Nero off the mat, and grabs him to deliver another belly-to-belly suplex. But Nero head butts him, and counters with a monkey flip. Nero quickly scurries to the top rope, and flies at Don, landing a missile dropkick! Nero turns to Don, waiting for him to get to his feet. He does, and Nero steps in, going for the RKO- but as he jumps, Don shoves him away! Don then bounds off the ropes, and connects with a spear! He goes for the cover: one … two … Nero hangs on! Don pulls Nero off the mat, he begins to scoop him for the Elephant Driver- but Nero gets on his shoulders, and goes for the victory roll- one … two … Don kicks out!

Again Nero heads to the top rope. Don stands up, and Nero jumps at him again, and connects with a flying cross body … but Don rolls through, and lifts Nero up! He shifts Nero onto his shoulder, and lands the Elephant Driver! Don goes for the cover: one … two… THREE!

Lindsay Monahan: Your winner, in 21 minutes and 54 seconds is Don deVries!

As Don celebrates his victory by spitting on Nero James and flipping off the fans we go backstage as it’s time check in on the backstage baby shower and it’s present opening time. Alexa sits in the center of the room with Miss Tyler and Lacey to her left, while Toxic Rain is on her right. Victoria Stone is in the corner of the room on her cell phone.

Victoria Stone: Hopefully not too much longer this thing is boring as hell. Okay, I’ll talk to you soon babe, something’s happening for a change.

Victoria closes her cell phone and returns to the party as Alexa opens the first gift handed to her by Alexis.

    Lacey: This is from me.

Alexa rips open the wrapping paper to reveal a breast pump. A little taken a back would be an understatement as clearly Alexa was not expecting something of use to come from this. The next gift comes from Miss Tyler and is a support pillow for the baby. Alexis has gotten a Diaper Bin for Alexa. Victoria Stone is next up as she hands over her present. Alexa again rips it open and is more than a little confused.

Victoria Stone: It’s a first aid kit, for when you drop the kid down the stairs or something. We all know you aren’t the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Alexa: Knifes? What do they have to do with anything?

Victoria Stone: Forget it. You’re welcome.

Victoria checks her wrist watch and decides enough is enough as she gets up and walks out of the room without even saying goodbye. Toxic Rain slides forward and hands her present over with a smile on her face. Alexa opens it and it turns out to be a vibrator.

    Alexa: Is this a joke?

Toxic Rain: What? No way. I did some research and pregnant women get horny, and honey, no man is going to be interested in you when you are the size of a house, this will do the job for you.

    Alexa: Thanks?

Toxic Rain: Glad you like it!

Toxic Rain hugs the bewildered Alexa before Alexis announces it’s time for some games but we have to leave the baby shower quickly as Mini Pain is shown pacing back and forth along a corridor backstage. Finally Mini stops pacing and stares at the door that is in the middle of this corridor. The camera joins Mini in looking at this door, and the crowd gives a mixed reception when they notice the office behind the door belongs to the stand-in GM, Guardian Devil. Mini waits for a few seconds looking at the door, before bursting in, not even bothering to knock. Upon entering the room Mini startles GD who is busy warming up for his upcoming match against Stone which is coming up very shortly.

Guardian Devil: What the? Matt? You know you can't come bursting into my office without an appointment!

Minimal Pain: Firstly, it's Mini P to you! And secondly, I'm sick and tired of this company treating me like dirt. I've had enough of being forgotten around here. It's another PPV here tonight, and yet again I'm not on the card! This crowd want to see me. More so than that, this crowd wants to see me beat Joey Nicholas' ass all over this arena! And if Joey's too busy, I still wouldn't mind a shot at your sorry ass!

The crowd is going nuts at these requests from Minimal Pain.

Guardian Devil: Hollllld on there just one second Mini! Perhaps you haven't noticed, but I'm in my ring gear, stretching for a reason. And it wouldn't surprise me if Joey Nicholas is doing exactly the same thing. You know why that is Mini? Cause we both have matches tonight! So surprising as it may seem you won't be facing me or Nicholas tonight. Now, if you'd came to me a little more politely maybe I'd have told you that I've been watching your efforts the past few weeks. And maybe I'd have told you that I've actually been impressed. Impressed enough to let you face Joey? I'm not sure yet, but I'll make a deal with you...I'll let you know on the next Adrenaline Rush. Happy?

The crowd cheer this decision by GD, and Mini is nodding his head enthusiastically.

Minimal Pain: You're on GD. I just hope you give me the right answer!

With that Mini leaves GD's office, slamming the door behind him, looking particularly pleased with himself.

    Grudge Match

Rich Stone w/ Victoria Stone vs. Guardian Devil

Victoria Stone gets on the mic before the match. She says her husband Rich Stone had no problem with Devil before he interfered with Stone' mission to become the CWA World Champion. Victoria says that since Devil likes to use chairs, why don’t they make it legal and asks Devil to make this a No DQ match. Devil is confidant enough to agree to it. Victoria then says when Devil gets in the ring, he will be signing his own death warrant.

Stone gets the early advantage. He works over Devil with right hands and some stomps. Devil ducks a clothesline and gets in some right hands. Devil then comes off the ropes and receives a boot from Stone. Stone throws Devil face first into the turnbuckle. They exchange some right hands and chops. Stone gains the advantage. Stone throws Devil into the turnbuckle, but charges into a boot from Devil. Stone quickly nails an overhead suplex. Devil rolls to the outside and grabs a chair. Stone stomps on the chair, crushing Devil's fingers. Devil comes back, and drops the chair across Stone with a leg drop. Devil runs off the ropes to nail a clothesline sending both men over the top rope to the outside. Devil sets up a table on the outside. Stone throws Devil into the guard rail. Stone gets out another table. They fight on the outside, and Stone gains advantage with some punches. He sends Devil back into the ring. Devil takes out Stone' legs as he gets in the ring. Devil goes off the ropes and nails a tornado DDT. Near fall. Devil with some hard right hand shots. Devil charges in, but Stone grabs Devil and executes a release belly to belly suplex sending Devil over the top ropes through the tables set up on the outside. Stone brings Devil back into the ring and gets a very near fall.

Stone brings a new table into the ring. Devil nails Stone with some chair shots. Near fall. Devil comes off the ropes and smashes the chair across the top of the head. Devil makes the cover and the ref makes the count but Stone kicks out at two. Devil argues with the referee as Stone regroups. Stone drops Devil with a right hand. Stone lifts him up into a power bomb, but Devil fights it off with some right hands to the head. Devil goes off the ropes but Stone catches him with a Discus Clothesline coming back. Devil is first back to his feet but Stone is playing possum and hits Devil with a super kick. The ropes keep Devil from hitting the mat. Stone grabs Devil and hoists him up for a Franchise Tag. Stone makes the cover but Devil kicks out at the last possible second. Stone comes close to losing his temper but Victoria calms him down and gets him to focus again. Devil is very slow to his feet as Rich Stone stalks him from behind. As soon as Devil turns, Stone nails him with a second Franchise Tag but doesn’t go for the cover, he instead locks in the Foundation of a Franchise in the center of the ring. Devil tries to desperately reach for the ropes but he is miles away. Stone squeezes tighter and tighter until Devil reluctantly accepts it and taps out for the first time in his career.

Lindsay Monahan: Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner of the match via Submission, in 18 minutes and 43 seconds is The Franchise Rich Stone!

Stone finally breaks the hold as a smile slowly comes across his face having just realized what he has accomplished. For the first time ever, The Guardian Devil has been beaten. Stone stands back up over Devil and is soon joined by his ecstatic wife Victoria. The two hug it out in the middle of the ring before heading backstage to really begin the celebrations.

CWA Uprising goes to the backstage and we see CWA Owner, Charles Anderson in the back talking with some of his production guys. All of a sudden some guy came up to him. This guy looked like he just walked off the street.

Guy: Mr. Anderson, can I talk to you for a second?

Anderson: What is it? Who are you?

The guy looks around a little paranoid.

Guy: I need my job back, please.

    Anderson looks confused.

Anderson: You worked here before? What did you do?

Guy: I wrestled for you back in the day. I need my job back, I lost everything.

Anderson looks closely at him, then realizes who he is.

Anderson: Ruben Johns? Oh my, what happened to the mighty King Johns? King of Wresting? Looks more like King of No Life.

Ruben Johns: I need a job, ill do anything. I mean, ill clean toilets if needed, clean up the blood on the mats, wash your limo, whatever. i just need work.

Anderson: I thought you were headed up to defend your crown as King of Wrestling in Canada...

Ruben Johns: I got dropped from the list because i was an inactive wrestler, but that doesn’t matter. You know that i am on of the best wrestlers, and i was a huge draw.

Anderson: Ruben, your 39? 40? now, how can you possibly draw anything as close as you have in the past? And your audience is in Canada, not globally. Sorry, but i don’t think you have a chance in CWA right now.

Ruben Johns: I need a job though....

Ruben begins to beg as Anderson calls for security to come and escort him out of the arena as it’s time for us to see the first of our two main events. With no preamble or entrance music, Logan V steps out onto the stage. The crowd is a little perplexed, but cheer wildly nonetheless. The masked man moves to the side of the stage, where a curtain hangs. From his rear pocket, he produces a pair of drumsticks, the curtains fall, and expose two more Logan V's, one holding a guitar, and the other with a bass. They rip off the skull masks to reveal Alkaline Trio, and begin playing “Calling All Skeletons.” As the opening bars play, a slew of masked men emerge from backstage, all dressed like Logan V, but each with a different colored mask. They form a circle on the center of the stage, and suddenly Logan V with the X-Fly championship around his waist shoots up, propelled from beneath the stage, and lands in front of the amassed skeletons. Logan moves to the side, salutes the band, and makes his way to the ring. He enters, and climbs the turnbuckle, raising the championship for the crowd. Pyro then erupts from the ceiling, as Logan V basks in the glow of the cheers resounding throughout the arena.

Suddenly, without warning the arena goes into complete darkness and a countdown begins from five with a single piano cord playing in the background. Once the countdowns hits zero the stage explodes with prosthetics, as “Now is the Time” by Dope begins to play. Spotlights zoom around the arena during the beginning guitar rifts before halting once the vocals start up making the crowd start to boo heavily as Joey Nicholas finally appears from behind the curtain with the AMLL cruiserweight championship slung over his right shoulder. The entire arena is enveloped in Aussies voicing their disapproval for one of the most hated men in the industry today. Nicholas relishes in the atmosphere taking his sweet time making his way towards the ring, as Logan begins to pace back and fourth in the ring like a crazed animal. Once Nicholas finally gets into the ring he slowly adjusts each elbow and kneepad to add to Logan’s frustration. Finally Nicholas hands the referee in charge of this historic bout; Tony Stevens, the cruiserweight championship and he raises it along with the X-Fly Championship into the air at all four corners of the ring as Lindsay Monahan goes over the match stipulations.

Lindsay Monahan: Ladies and Gentlemen, this contest is scheduled for one fall an it is for both the CWA X-Fly and AMLL Cruiserweight Championships. Now in the contest Logan V’s Mask will on the line as well as Joey Nicholas’ X-Fly Contendership! Introducing first, standing at 6’ 2” and weighing in at 225 lbs, he hails from York, England; The CWA X-Fly Champion, Logan V!

The Australian crowd goes ballistic for Englishmen who is seen as somewhat of a hometown hero as they instantly break out in a Logan chant.

Lindsay Monahan: And his opponent in this contest standing at 5’ 11” and weighing in at 232 lbs, he hails from Los Angeles, California; The AMLL Cruiserweight Champion, Joey Nicholas!

The crowd instantly turns sour and erupts in boos as proceeds to flip them all off drawing even bigger heat. Steven hands the Championship belts off to Bruce Mollard before signaling for the bell to get this historic bout underway!

    Winner Takes All

    Logan V vs. Joey Nicholas

Logan charges at his nemesis looking to draw first blood but Joey quickly back peddles to the ropes causing Billy Stevens to get in between the two and force Logan out of the corner. Nicholas then shoots a smirk at Logan as he casually struts back to the middle of the ring amidst the boos throughout the arena. Stevens calls for the match to resume and Logan doesn’t take a second to hesitate this time around as he spears Nicholas to the ground and begins to rain down heavy lefts and rights on his fallen foe enraged. Nicholas finally covers up after receiving multiple blows as Logan starts to grow exhausted during his outburst giving Nicholas the opportune time to rake at Logan’s eyes forcing the masked man to roll off of Joey thus giving him time to recuperate from Logan’s offensive. Nicholas then saunters over to a fallen Logan and gives him a swift kick to the gut before dragging him head first to the far end of the ring with his head out of the ring. Nicholas slides out of the ring and jogs over to Bruce Mollard before exploding into a dead sprint towards a motionless Logan and landing a prompted kick to his head causing the masked man to roll over so he is now facing the mat below. Nicholas takes this time to put Logan’s head under his arm before hitting a wicked DDT to the outside of the ring sending Logan head first onto the mat with thunderous thud that resounds throughout the arena. Joey then props Logan over his should before running him back first into the turnbuckle post causing him cry out in pain as he is dropped to the floor.

Nicholas casually rolls into the ring to break the referee’s ten count before rolling back out to inflict more damage to his opponent but Logan hits a few jabs to Nicholas gut stopping him dead in his tracks before Logan clotheslines the Real Deal down to the mat. Logan slides into the ring and awaits for Nicholas to get back to his feet before rebounding off the opposite ropes and hitting a baseball slide on Joey sending him back towards the announcers table. Logan begins to ascend the top rope as Nicholas crawls over to the barricade to get back to his feet. The leader of the L.S.A. goes airborne in an attempted flying forearm smash but only eats barricade as Nicholas side steps him. Joey then lifts him over head and brings him down face first onto the barricade. Joey then proceeds to climb the turnbuckle and hits a fantastic moonsault onto Logan knocking him back down onto the ground. With both men down and out, Tony Stevens starts the count

    1...2...3...4...5...6...7..

At 8 both men begin to stir, all the while a “Logan” chant breaks out echoing throughout the stands in an attempt to egg on the masked Englishman. They begin to crawl towards the ring and rolling into it just after Stevens counts aloud “9” to break the count! Both competitors exhaustively get to their feet and begin to lay huge rights into one another causing a “Boo-Yeah” exchange amongst the Aussie audience. Logan finally kicks Nicholas in the gut causing him to go down to one knee before Logan cranks Nicholas wrist then leading him to one of the turnbuckles and climbing it. The entire audience watches in astonishment as Logan walks across the top rope like a tight rope with Nicholas’ arm still in hand before suddenly leaping into the air and giving Nicholas a stiff kick to the side of his temple sending him face first on the mat. Logan wastes little time in locking in a sharpshooter at this time to weaken his foe. Nicholas screams in agony before beginning to inch his way towards the bottom rope, the crowd is in a frenzy expecting to see Nicholas tap but they are proven wrong when he reaches out and grasps the bottom rope causing Stevens to force Logan to break the hold. While Nicholas attempts to recuperate at the ropes Logan begins to ascend to the middle rope and attempt a elbow drop from the middle rope but Joey rolls out of the way causing the Englishman to crash and burn on the mat! Nicholas waits for Logan to get back up to his feet, before driving him back down to the mat with the highlight of the night! Joey hooks the leg and Tony Stevens counts

    1...2...No!

Logan gets his shoulder up much to everyone’s relief! Joey forces Logan to his feet before hitting a back breaker and quickly locking in the Realization the middle of the ring! Logan lifts his body up by his arms in a dire attempt to relieve some of the excruciating pressure put on his back. The crowd gets behind the X-Fly Champion now as they clap him on while he drags himself to the nearest rope. His screams of pain can clearly be heard with each attempt to edge closer to his goal. After a few torturous moments, Logan finally makes it to the bottom rope and clutches onto it. Stevens orders Joey to break the old but he is ignored giving him no choice but to start a five count. The crowd jeers as Nicholas continues to apply pressure until the official counts to four before finally releasing the hold. Joey then stomps on Logan’s back to add insult to injury. Joey stalks his opponent now reeling back for the maneuver he claimed would seal Logan’s fate; The Deal Breaker. He lunges forward with his boot but Logan is more than ready for it as he ducks and locks in the million dollar dream in shades of their last encounter at Five Star Attraction! The crowd goes into a complete frenzy as they await for the most despicable person in the CWA to tap out. Nicholas extends his hand towards the bottom rope attempting to reach the bottom rope but he is merely a few inches away from it. He has since begun to cry out in agony now and he seems just about ready to tap out with his right hand raised triggering the fans go crazy with anticipation! But Nicholas composes himself to go the extra mile and drag himself along with Logan atop of him closer to the bottom rope and clasping it causing the ref to order a break in the hold. Both men now lay sprawled out on the mat trying to catch their breath. Nicholas uses the ropes as leverage to stand himself up and he awaits for a drained Logan to do the same. Once Logan gets to his feet, Joey connects with the Deal Breaker that causes Nicholas to fall with it on top of Logan fatigued. The referee counts

    1...2...No!

Once again Logan gets his shoulder off the mat at what one would assume to be a 2 ¾ count! Nicholas looks up in bewilderment. After a moment in awe, he hooks the leg only for Logan to kick out once more with a two count. Joey goes for the pinfall on a third occasion with the exact same result as the one prior. Nicholas is going mad now as he jumps up to his feet and screams at Tony Stevens, who tries as best as he can to calm the situation down claiming it was really a two count on all three occasions. Joey is hearing none of it however as he turns his back on the official looking to go back to work on Logan but from out of nowhere he whips around and clocks the referee in the jaw with his boot sending Stevens airborne and landing hard onto the mat near the corner out cold. With the man in charge of the match unconscious, Nicholas takes his time to remove the padding covering the brass ring holding the ropes to the turnbuckle. He puts Logan on his shoulders in an attempt to hit snake eyes but Logan wriggles free sending Nicholas face first into the exposed turnbuckle cutting him open almost instantaneously! Logan takes this time to hit the End of the Line before hooking the leg but to no avail what with the official down and out. Logan nudges a lifeless Tony Stevens with his boot but with no success, Tony has yet to stir after being struck by the devastating blow. The camera pans up the ramp to show Billy Stevens dashing down the ramp just as Nicholas sneaks up behind Logan and shifts his mask ultimately blinding him. Nicholas winds up once more and thrusts his boot at Logan who adjusts his mask back in the nick of time to see it coming and side step it before grabbing Nicholas and hitting the End of the Line once more before hooking the leg and Billy Stevens counting:

    1...2...3!

Lindsay Monahan: Ladies and Gentlemen, your winner at 32 minutes and 36 seconds, and NEW AMLL Cruiserweight Champion, Logan V!

Billy Stevens presents both championships to Logan who falls to his knees raising both titles into the air with the crowd going insane with cheers. All the while Nicholas rolls out of the ring quickly storms backstage.

Harvey Buckworth: What an exhilarating match up! As a result of Logan being victorious he is not only the new AMLL Cruiserweight champion, but he keeps his mask intact and Joey Nicholas is now banished from competing in the X-Fly division ever again! Logan wont be getting much rest after this defense however, as he already has a challenger lined up for him in the form of Steve Osborn.

Jim Taylor: How can you possibly even begin to talk about future title bouts when such a travesty has just occurred before our very eyes Harvey!? Did you not see Joey Nicholas just being screwed out of a title match yet again by the CWA officiating staff?!

Harvey Buckworth: We must not have watched the same match up Jim, I saw Nicholas cheat his way up until the very end where he got what he had coming to him, Logan won fair and square, go kiss Joey’s ass some other time!

We go to the ring where Lindsay Monaham is standing by...the referee for this Main Event is Senior Official Karl Rooney.

Lindsay Monahan: “This match is scheduled for one fall and it’s for the CWA Heavyweight Championship of the World. Introducing first the challenger from Washington DC USA, weighting in at 195lbs...The Agent of Change and current AMLL Champion, Nickolas Kennedy Arsen!!!”

“In the Fade” by Queens of the Stone Age starts blasting through the loud speakers, as Arsen comes out from behind the curtains with his AMLL Title around his waist. Boos can be heard throughout the arena, but Arsen doesn’t seem to care, as casually and with a smile on his face, makes his way down the ramp. All of a sudden though, boos turn into cheers, as Roberto runs down the ramp with his World Title in hand and smashes Arsen right on the back of the head. The bell has not rung yet and therefore Roberto won’t be disqualified for this sneak attack. The CWA World Champion either knows this or just doesn’t care...he picks Arsen up and Irish whips him to the steel post. Arsen hits it head first really hard and this causes his head to start bleeding. The ref finally gets involved and tries to stop Roberto, but just gets pushed away for his troubles. Roberto goes after Arsen again, as the AMLL Champ tries to climb back into the ring, but before the Beautiful Man can get a hold of him, the ref wraps his arms around his waist and holds him back. Arsen finally gets back into the ring, as Roberto tries to get the ref off of him. He eventually does and goes right back to work on his opponent. Rooney gets back in the ring and even though is not really happy about it, decides to ring the bell anyway. This match now is officially underway.

    CWA World Heavyweight Championship

    Roberto vs. Nickolas Kennedy Arsen

Roberto wastes no time as he moves right over with a few rights, taking one half of the Submission Coalition back to the ropes. A chop to the chest, another and another, then Roberto whips Arsen to the other ropes. Lifts him up, slams him down with a flap jack. With blood still flowing from his head, Arsen steps back into the corner, as Roberto runs and drives a shoulder into his sternum. Clubbing forearm to the back of Arsen's head, followed by an arm drag which takes him down again. Roberto in complete control and on a mission it seems. He is really trying to show Arsen who the man really is. Roberto drops an elbow on Arsen, then kicks him in the stomach, as he tries to get up. He kicks him again, and once more. The fans are surprised by the relentless start from the CWA World Champion, but at the same time they seem to love it as well. Arsen slowly tries to get back to his feet still stunned at Roberto ferocity. Roberto gets him with a right, then a left having him back against the ropes again. Irish whip, Arsen bounces off the ropes and Roberto backdrops him and right away goes for the cover...

    1...2... and Arsen kicks out.

Roberto picks Arsen up and tosses him of the ring, as he follows right behind. Roberto grabs Arsen by the hair and then body slams him on the concrete floor. All of a sudden, Steve Osborn comes down the ramp and it’s obvious he’s there to help Arsen. He tries to hit Roberto, but the Champ won’t have any of it. He is able to nail Osborn first and now it’s the natural feeling the fury of Roberto. Rooney won’t have any of it and separates them and then orders Osborn to leave. As the ref is busy with Osborn, another of Roberto’s enemies tries to get involved...it’s the masked man who has assaulted Roberto on more than one occasion. He comes in from the crowd and with a chair in hand strikes Roberto right on the skull and now Roberto, just like Arsen, is bleeding as well. The masked man, as fast as he came in, climbs over the rail and disappears through the crowd before the ref even knows what has just happened. Both competitors are now down and bleeding. The ref, who has just successfully got rid of Osborn, checks on both competitors. Both are not responding and Rooney now has no options but start the count. He gets up to 6, as Arsen starts showing sign of life. The Agent of Change gets back on his feet. He grabs Roberto and tosses him back inside the ring, thus breaking the ref’s count. Roberto is still motionless and Arsen takes this opportunity and goes for the pin...

1...2...and right at the last moment Roberto lifts his shoulder.

The fans are very relieved, as they thought that was it. Arsen is not done though and gets on top of Roberto and starts some nasty ground and pound. Then locks in a STF, as Roberto yells out in pain. Roberto tries to use his strength to break free, but can’t seem to escape. The ref asks Roberto if he wants to quit, but the champ won’t tap. He tries to reach out for the ropes and eventually does and Arsen breaks the hold. Arsen is feeling confident now and starts mocking Roberto by pretending to be him, as the fans boo loudly. Arsen brings Roberto back to his feet and hooks the head lifting him up and hitting a front suplex. Arsen goes for a cover again...

1...2...and Roberto once again is able to lift his shoulder up.

Both men back up and Arsen chops at Roberto’s chest, as he stumbles back into the corner. Hard right to the head, Arsen whips Roberto to the other corner, but the champ reverses and then runs at him, but Arsen manages to lift his legs and kicks Roberto right in the face. Roberto falls down and Arsen proceeds to drop some leg drops. Arsen now decides to go for a high risk move and climbs the top rope...he jumps off and successfully hits Roberto with a big splash. He goes for the pin one more time...

1...2...and Roberto just won’t stay down.

Arsen back to work and hits a German suplex, before locking in a sleeper hold. Roberto could go to sleep here. Arsen squeezes with all he’s got, as Roberto struggles to escape. Roberto now is asleep it seems and Rooney starts checking on him. He lifts Roberto’s arm once and it goes straight back down. He lifts it again and the same thing happens. The crowd is biting their nails as the ref now does it for the third and last time...but this time Roberto’s arm doesn’t drop, instead he pumps himself up and escapes. Arsen punches him in the face, but Roberto doesn’t feel it. Arsen tries again, but Roberto blocks it and hits Arsen with a few punches of his own. He follows that up with a drop kick and a side suplex. Roberto is on fire. Arsen gets back on his feet and Roberto runs the ropes, but as he tries to hit Arsen with a spear, Arsen pulls the ref in front of him and Roberto strikes Rooney instead. Roberto checks on Rooney, as Arsen sneaks behind him and tries to nail him with the Absolute-ly Fabulous. Roberto reverses it and hits a Tiger Driver of his own. He goes for the pinfall, but Rooney is still down. He tries to revive Rooney once again, but it’s no use...wait, Billy Stevens, the same referee Arsen assaulted following his loss at 5 Star Attraction, comes running down the ramp and inside the ring. It looks like we’ve got a new ref. Roberto picks Arsen up and hits him with the Milkshake, before going for the pin...

...but Billy Stevens instead of counting, goes to check on Rooney. Roberto calls him over, but Billy pretends not to hear him. Roberto stands up and grabs Billy wanting to know what the hell he is doing. Billy tells him not to touch him and as they argue, Arsen has gotten back to his feet....he sneaks behind Roberto and rolls him up...Billy with a super fast count...

    1...2...3...this one is over.

Lindsay Monahan: “The winner of this match at 52 minutes and 22 seconds, and New CWA World Champion...Nickolas Kennedy Arsen!”

Both Billy Stevens and Nickolas Kennedy Arsen right away exit the ring, as Roberto is left in the ring wondering what has just happened. Billy Stevens grabs the belt and hands it over to Arsen. Arsen can’t believe it and hugs the belt, before hugging Billy as well. It seems Billy and Arsen had this planned. The same man, who Arsen assaulted just a few months ago, has just helped him win the most prized possession in all of wrestling. Billy Stevens rips off his referee’s shirt to show a Submission Coalition one right underneath. It seems Billy is now the newest disciple of the Submission Coalition. Roberto is furious in the ring, as Arsen and Billy celebrate on top of the ramp. With that the show goes off the air.

Re: February 24th 2010 - Uprising - Live from Sydney, Australia

    Awesome show.

    Spoiler:

But I can't wait to choke that referee to death. Sub Co is a two man show and a referee who doesn't perform submission maneuvers is definitely not one of those two men.

edit: Yeah, gonna have to collaborate with you guys and Nick to fix this. Referee in Sub Co = not okay. Especially with a fast count instead of a submission screwjob? Wtf... makes no sense. That referee has some serious pain coming his way.

And for the record, this is going to create some serious tension in the Submission Coalition. The best wrestlers in this business do not need crooked referees to win championships. This definitely won't be sitting well with Steve Osborn.

I'm not a huge fan with that decision as well.

I guess we can write him off somehow.

Free win for Stone, enjoy. Congrats to my boy Nicky on the big dub. Helluva show, wish I had the time.

So what the hell happened here guys? The Submission Coalition is about being better than other people, not having to cheat to win. You realize Osborn will now have to ask Arsen to give the championship back or vacate it altogether right? And why in the world would some referee be a member of the stable I created? Without consulting me? ESPECIALLY given a fast count instead of a submission. I have no idea what's going on but this needs to be remedied. Creative control went overboard.

Out of all the promo's you have done in the last year or so, this one was definitly in my top three. I'd have to read them all again to give you an exact position, but it's near the top for me.

I have an idea to straigten it out, but yeah, you're right. I think I get what was trying to be accomplished, but it was random as fuck. Especially since there was a referee run in by the same ref a match before. I think if there was to be a dirty finish, the mystery man would have been enough.

I can honestly say that I have never had anything I would call a bad blowjob, that wasn't a great experience but up until I started gushing blood I was having a great time!

Or even a submission screwjob, which might then make some sense with the Submission Coalition t-shirt. Either way, he's not in Sub Co, and we'll kill him on Adrenaline Rush if need be. I don't think Osborn's had the pleasure of injuring a referee before. Guess there's a first time for everything.

Some of us have an admiration for good character development and storytelling.

Not to sound like a prick (ok maybe a little) but don't demean the importance of control over characters and consistent development. If none of this should matter at all why even participate?

This is looks like this can turn into a heated arguement. I understand Stevo wants consistency because I would be mad if they had my character drinking beer. It was a mistake and it said it be corrected. Hopefully the writters just be a little bit more careful

I have the utmost faith something will be worked out. Nothing can't be recovered from.
