Meh, I suppose it's a nice day out and cup is usually cheaper than league when it comes to tickets.

I'd have preferred a home draw but it could have been far worse. Getting tickets appears to be impossbile though

As a season ticket holder, don't you get first refusal?

I don't have a season ticket. It's not worth it because I only get to about 5 or 6 games a season with working every other weekend and travel costs.

It would be great if Portsmouth win it this year. Relegated but FA Cup winners.

Excellent to see Portsmouth get the win, not that the money will bail them out signifigantly...but its good to still see the players fight.

More than a little ironic that on the day when FIFA said they would not be discussing the prospect of goalline technology anymore, we see a perfect example of why it's needed. Granted, it would have only made it 2-1 but who knows what would have happened after that. Birmingham have every right to feel hard done by imo.

Re: FA Cup Quarter Final Discussion

The only Cup game I’ve seen this weekend was the Reading/Villa game. Looked like a good game from what I watched of it. Villa jus didn’t turn up in the first half, and I was sure Reading were going to go on and win it. 2-0 up at half time and it looked like they were through.

Full credit to Villa for pulling it back so quickly. Missed their first, but saw the equaliser – very good move finished off by Carew. I feel sorry for Reading – they are a club I’ve gone to watch a few times over the years, but hopefully they can now concentrate of staying in the Championship.

Great to see Portsmouth in the semis. After all the troubles the fans have had to put up with this season, they can enjoy a day out at Wembley. Hopefully they do get to keep the money from this campaign as long as it goes to help pay their debts. Avram Grant is such the unlikeliest of heroes, lol.

Re: FA Cup Quarter Final Discussion

Portsmouth should have been disqualified from the competition as soon as they went into administartion. They've got to this stage on the back of a squad they can't afford. It's cheating, plain and simple
