As everyone Hulk Hogan was become what some people would say as a forgotten legend. He wasn't being talked about like he was in the past, now the legend was Stone Cold not Hulk Hogan. He decided that he wanted the attention once more. Word got out that he had even go on as low as trying to sign with main stream promotion, Total Nonstop Action in an effort to show to global promotion, World Wrestling Entertainment that he could still do it since Vince had refused to sign him to a second contract. Though TNA weren't so easily fooled and rejected Hulk Hogan despite knowing that they might have gained a larger fan base. Once Hulk Hogan attempted one last dying effort in getting into a promotion with ROH, but ROH replied by saying they were screwed by a legend once they won't be screwed by a legend twice and so Hogan had finally given up.

Though later on he came to come across an old friend of his, the Randy Savage. He too was missing the spot light and he too had realized he had been forgotten once he looked at the sales of his new DVD. A thought came to them if they couldn't come back into the current promotions then why not create a promotion of their own. So they did, with all the big money bags they currently had, Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage created their new promotion known as Global Championship Wrestling.

Hogan and Savage have not received much comments on their newest project but they have revealed who they will be having in staff, two of them feel very well the same way as Hogan and Savage, these two men will be taking on air role in the show and with internal projects. These two men are none other then the Million Dollar Man, Ted DiBiase Sr. The second man is none other then the Best their is, The Best Their was and the Best their ever will be, Bret Hart. A third man will be joining them, still old but not as old, he is also a millionaire, he is John Bradshaw Layfield though it has not been revealed what role he will take within the company. Though with all these legends entering, you've got to be wondering what talent will be brought in this promotion.

In Come The Family

It was revealed shortly after the signing of Bret Hart and Ted DiBiase and John Bradshaw Layfield that several stars would be accompanying them. Most of these stars are from the WWE but decided that they would get better opportunities in GCW with their parents. A lot think this will create some backstage politics but Savage and Hogan assured them their will be no favority. These stars are Teddy Hart who will be going by the name of Theo Hart, David Hart Smith who belonged to the WWE. He will be just keeping the name David Hart. TJ was in fact not signed due to Bret saying that he did not deserve the Hart name. Nattie Neidhart has also been signed. On the other side is Ted DiBiase and his younger brother Brett DiBiase, though Ted DiBiase Sr. has not decided rather Mike the oldest should join or not.

The Family Plans
Word is that GCW have already come up with story line ideas regarding the new signings, they've decided to have some family rivalry though it is known that Ted has been in the Hart Foundation in his FCW days he will completely ignore this. The HArt Dynasty will also instead take the name of the Hart Foundation and the DiBiase's will take the name of the DiBiase Foundation in this classic bitter family rivalry. Though they have also decided they will try to find a female and make her kayfabe marry one of the DiBiase or have her act as a kayfabe daughter to Ted DiBiase Sr. John Bradshaw Layfield has also officially been added to the announcing team as a third commentator.

The Mega Powers Junior
Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage have decided to hire Charlie Haas and make him play the gimmick of Haas Hogan alongside Jay Lethal who will take the gimmick of Black Machismo. Of course this will involve the original Mega Powers wrestling occassionally. Though it has been said that if Jay Lethal shows great skill he might be considered for a push. Though Hogan has claimed that Charlie Haas time to get a push has passed but he just might have something good in store for him in the mid card division that will establish him as a legend in GCW. They will be known as the Mega Powers Junior

The Real Signings Begin
GCW have decided that it's time to really begin signing the superstars that will be joining their roster. Here is a list of those who have been signed.

Chavo Guerrero, Homicide, Hector Guerrero & Salinas: These man and women has been recruited by Bret Hart, Bret says that he's angered with the way WWE is treating the Guerrero name and that he refuses for this to continue which is way he is bringing back pride to the guerrero name. He said that he brought along Homicide because he wants him to be the one that shake things up for Chavo in a story line and that Hector will also be their to show Chavo the way and train him a bit. Bret had considered Hernandez but realized he has it going well in TNA and that he doesn't want to jeopardize his title chances. Salinas was signed as a valet though it has not been known rather they will have a womens division or not, if so she is definately a contender for the title. Hector has also been added to the spanish announcing team when he is not in the ring or in a segment and is a part of the creative team. He will be dealing with recruits from the spanish nation.

Sarita: The young knockout from TNA was recruited by Hector Guerrero on an open contract, if they decide on a womens division the deal will be written if not she will probably be release or on the off chance that Rey Mysterio is signed she will be a valet.

Matt Morgan or A.J Styles: Both have been put on an open contract, the creative team have decided to let the fans chose who will be signing on the dotted line though they have the right to override this decision. They will wait for the first one to achieve 5. 000 votes (5 votes if needed less). Morgan on one side is litterally the blue print of a great big man, He can surely compare to the Big Show in his younger days and can be involved in many storylines, he has pretty good mic skills and charisma and is the preffered choice in this situation being younger and having not yet won a heavyweight title. A.J on the other hand is really athletic and has shown that he is a decent all around wrestler and this era's greatest high flyers. Though he doesn't have as good mic skills says the creative team, yes he's been in diverse gimmicks but he hasn't really grasped the fans attention when he's in the ring talking, much like some would say Shelton though he has received his opportunity.

Evan Bourne & Rob Van Dam & possibly Paul Heyman: All the creative team agreed that the duo of these two could lead to some great story lines and mentorship but if Heymanwere to sign a contract which the GCW are currently begging him too, it would get GCW betterhomegrown talent. Though it would also increase the chances of better story lines and getting the Old ECW involved too. They have though of a great plan too if Heyman were to sign the contract.

Trish Stratus: Hogan has gotten into a meeting with Trish and they decide upon having the womens division and they will play it into a story line how they get the womens division. Trish will also be taken the backstage role of taken care of the womens division. Though she has unfortunately not convince Lita to come help her.

Kelly Kelly & Maryse: Both women were stolen from the WWE, Kelly Kelly immediately agreed once she was offered the contract saying Trish is her idol and she would take Trish over WWE any day. Maryse on the other side said that Trish is a fellow canadian and they have to stick with each other.

The Beautiful People: GCW and TNA have been through talks and TNA have sold the rights to the Beautiful People to GCW. GCW have left Angelina Love in TNA though as TRish said she was never one to impress her. Trish will be hoping to make the BP a big part of the womens division.

Johnny Prime & Krissy Vaine: The Young wrestler from FCW has agreed to sign with GCW and will be coming with Krissy Vaine in a girlfriend boyfriend skit. This will mainly be a story line but later on Johnny might just get a better role on the wrestling side of things.

Thiago Silva: Silva has officially quit MMA and decided that he wanted to wrestle, he was schedueld to appear at UFC102 but decided not to and is now an official MMA cross over and will in fact also play the role of an MMA Cross Over. Bret Hart, Homicide, and Hector have been espicially helping him with his mike skills and wrestling ability.

Dolph Ziggler & Maria: Ziggler has also signed alongside Maria and said that he is ecstatic to take a big part in GCW. That he and his kayfabe girlfriend MAria will make the best of things

Ashley Massaro: Since being released from WWE because of her daughters health problem, Ashley was not seen sicne but now that her daughter is cure she will be returning back this time in GCW

Edge & Lita: The biggest signing and the biggest wrestler signed is none other then the RAted R Superstar, he accepted that GCW needed that big main eventer and he would be the one to fill that spot, he also said that he's going to be part of the creative team as he thinks he also has some fresh ideas for the buisness. Lita also finally accepted to come back to wrestling with Edge and continue a love angle with him and he will also be helping with the womens division. She has been said to be taking a liking to Sarita and to have started helping her with her moves.

GCW Critiscized
GCW have been crtiscized for only signing eye candy or as others say "Sluts." GCW replied with saying some might consider them sluts sure but you can't deny that they can actually wrestle, sure girls like Kelly Kelly or Ashley Massaro have a lot to learn but they have potential and they are young and their was never anything wrong with eye candy. For example who would you pay to watch, Chyna Vs. Awesome Kong or... Trish Stratus Vs. Lita. The answer is easy Trish Vs. Lita.

GCW Sign Several Deal
GCW have first off signed a deal so that MCDonalds becomes their proud sponsor, they've also signed a deal with Play Boy, saying it brings more viewers and they aren't exactly being PG. They also have decided on buying their own TV deal, the network is caled. The Wrestling Channel airing various wrestling shows like ROH and Celebrity Wrestling, it'll also be host classic WCW or ECW or NWA though they will not air TNA or WWE shows. They've also revealed that every sunday GCW will air the Aftermath a show a bit like WWE Experience or TNA Xplosion but with more character. The host will be JBL as he also interviews various wrestlers from the show on events that occured. GCW main show will also be Wednesday Night Uprising.

Next Signings
GCW have said that they will be targetting independant workers from now on, maily from ROH. They also wnat to reveal that they have 28 wrestlers in total, 18 superstars, and 10 womens.

Hogan Misunderstood
Hogan explains that on the last interview on his womens he wasn't being understandable and he ask for forgiveness. He claims that he had a talk with Trish and what he said was wrong, he went on to say that what he has with his womens is the best from both worlds. TNA are going over the board with their knckouts idea. I mean putting them through tables and tacks. That's not how you treat a lady but WWE only have their divas be eye candy and well they treat them like show girls, he claims that he will be a mix of both beautiful and great wrestlers.

Titles Revealed
Various titles were put on the home page of the GCW website these titles were revealed as the Dominance Title. This title will only be for wrestlers who weight 200lbs or more. The second title is the million dollar championship, it will be for those who weight 240lbs or less, similar to the X-Division though they will not allow guys like Samoa Joe to compete for it. This will be the two mid card titles for GCW. The third title is going to be the Global Double Duo Championship, of course for tag teams. The main title will be the Global Heavyweight Championship though of course their is no weight limit for it. The promotion have showed no sign of a womens division or title despite all the womens signings they've made.

Pay-Per-View
The pay-per-views have also been revealed for the GCW. Here is the list also with this, Uprising was changed to War and will now be airing monday nights and aftermath will now be airing saturday nights:

New Signings
GCW are on it again, signing more wrestlers to the promotion and hopefully adding depth to the roster.

Curt Hawkins: Curt will start out as an extra basically or as a jobber if you prefer though later on the GCW have revealed that he will play a bigger role in the promotion.

The Miz: Mike Mizanin has also been added to the roster as Hogan thinks he has much charisma and mic skills and though his ring skills need improving he is right for the main event or mid card.

Tyler Black: The young man from Ring of Honor has agreed to a chance to show his skill in the main stream promotion. He will play a big role in the promotion and will hopefully be used to his full extent.

Colt Cabana: Colt "Classic" Cabana is a great wrestler in the eyes of Bret Hart and he was never given a chance in WWE but here he will be given the chance to show his true ability and hopefully he can show dominance in the promotion.

Chris Masters: GCW wish to evolve his gimmick a bit as in making him a master submissionist: master exibishionist and an all around master of the ring.

Layla El, Melina, Traci Brooks: All tremendous divas were signed, it has not been revealed what role they will play but they just might get involved with each other, Savage actually signed them when he looked at his roster and realized they were practically all blonds. So he decided just to add some color to the promotion.

Theodore Long & R-Truth: GCW also realized that they need some afro-americans in the promotion and decided to add the combo of R-Truth and T-Lo as a package, they will be playing faces.

Hurricane: The Hurricane was signed as GCW belive he needs to hold a world title before he retires though it has not been revealed if or when he will hold it.

Eugene: Nick Dinsmore has been signed as they believe his Eugene gimmick can be used creativily easily and they have ideas on what storyline to involve him in.

Replaced
Just coming, Krissy Vaine has been replaced by Brooke ADams as the valet of young Johnny Prime. Rumor was that they were just cutting down the blondes and that they didn't consider as great as they first saw her. Johnny Prime did not deny the switch and had nothing bad to say about it.

Maryse Valet & New Star Signs
Maryse is officially also going to be valet, she will be the valet of the newest signing, Rene Dupree though she will also wrestle.

Karen Angle Signs
Even with all hte publicity surrounding her, Karen Angle has agreed to a contract with GCW though Hogan possibly just did this to throw off Jeff Jarrett and Dixie Carter.

Another Hogan
Horace Hogan, the nephew of Hulk Hogan has agreed to sign a contract with the promotion though he will be acting as a jobber in the promotion.

Karen Angle was in fact signed to be used as a backstage interviewer. The ring announcer will be Lillian Garcia.

Also, i think Tyson Kidd would be given more of an opportunity by Hart than Teddy would as Teddy is a bit of a douche.

Yeah well that's what I thought, Hogan is a forgotten legend, my first idea was to make him a broke person who needed more money but then I realized... how will he get a roster n'everything. Anyways I do consider him as a forgotten legend since Stone Cold joined the hall of fame class, I think they don't remember Hogan anymore, htey remember Stone Cold, or The Rock. Anyways I think it had fit as a storyline.


on the Tyson Kidd thing well I'll say this, I totally hate Tyson and his hair, it's just one of those wrestlers I hater. Teddy is just a wrestler I like plus I think it made sense as in Bret Hart doesn't consider Tyson a real hart. I'll possibly get Tyson to join later on maybe.
