    Manchester City 4 Wigan 0

Manchester City are through to the Fifth Round of the FA Cup, where they will face arch rivals Manchester United on Saturday, 14th February 2009. An error from Wigan keeper Chris Kirkland allowed Emmanuel Adebayor to score an easy volley in the 36th minute. Adebayor added another from the edge of the box in the 56th minute. Robinho popped up again with a close shot in the 87th minute.

The winner came in the 82nd minute after Pablo Zabaleta pounced on a Nani cross and finished with a sublime header. The only negative to come out the game was Darijo Srna reaching the yellow card limit with 5 yellow cards, meaning an automatic 1 match ban starting Sunday, 15th February.

80th Min: Tevez Off, Adebayor On.

Equal at half time with the 6th place team is better than equal at half time with the 19th placed team.

Read up a few posts... I won 2-1.

And I don't need Cahill. Riquelme, Barry, Ireland and Hamsik say no.

5th Round Of The FA Cup - Manchester City Vs Manchester United

Odds: Man City 7-4 Draw 11-5 Man Utd 5-4(Fav)

In-Form Man City go into this game as slight underdogs even with the home advantage over league champions Man Utd, according to Sky Bet.

Man Utd beat Middlesbrough and Doncaster Rovers whilst Man City beat Wigan Athletic and Fulham to get this far.

This match also marks the return of previous Man City player Nigel De Jong to The City Of Manchester Stadium.

A big advantage for Manchester City going into this match is Manchester United's loss of Wayne Rooney, who has scored 22 goals in 27 appearances, to a torn calf muscle, and is expected to be out from between 8 weeks and 2 months.

    Expected Team:
    Akinfeev
    Bridge
    Toure
    Richards
    Zaccardo
    Nani
    Barry
    Ireland
    Srna
    Tevez
    Adebayor
    Subs:
    Given
    Dunne
    Zabaletta
    Petrov
    Onuoha
    Riquelme
    Robinho

(Hamsik is being rested after scoring 2 goals for Slovakia a few days earlier.)

    Other Fixtures (FA 5th Round):
    Southend 0 vs Liverpool 4
    Blackburn 2 vs Hull 0
    Ipswich 2 vs Stoke 1
    Newcastle 3 vs Portsmouth 1
Sheff Utd 1 vs Wolves 1
    Tottenham 4 vs Coventry 0
    Chelsea 1 vs Arsenal 1

    Premier League:
West Ham 3 vs Burnley 0

Manchester City 2 Manchester United 2
Manchester City could count themselves a little unlucky during their 2-2 draw in the FA Cup 5th Round draw. After getting off to a flying start in the 8th minute after Srna set up Adebayor for a beatiful header. Things went from bad to worse after Ireland capitalized on a Gary Neville injury to sprint clear and goal from close range. Berbatov managed to pull one back with a close range header in the 77th minute before Micah Richards gave away a penalty to allow Riccardo Montolivo to score his first goal for Manchester United in the 82nd minute.
