The problem I have with it it's one of those kid books that everyone claims to have read and loved but for the most part they haven't or they didn't but since it's hip to love kid movies as a young adult they say they love it.
It's my general cynicism about people shining through.

I dunno I just know when I was a kid I really did love this book. Have it in hard cover. Still same one.
