Plot Summary: Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort's defenses and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information. Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry finds himself more and more drawn to Ginny, but so is Dean Thomas. And Lavender Brown has decided that Ron is the one for her, only she hadn’t counted on Romilda Vane's chocolates! And then there's Hermione, simpering with jealously but determined not to show her feelings. As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again.

I always love me some Harry Potter. The films aren't always the best, but they've improved since taking the "darker" route and this one looks like it will cross over well.

I'll be there (probably on opening night) to see this. I've loved every Harry Potter film more and more as they continue to come out. I enjoy the "darker" feel they have as they go on.

From the preview and information, this one just seems to really be setting up for the big finale in the 7th installment. There doesn't seem to be a central "big struggle" in H-BP.

Either way, I'll still be there.

There is no way I am going on opening night like I did last time. Not getting dragged into that again.

I though the last one was a step down from the previous films, at least in terms of the writing. They've always had to pick and choose what to include and what to leave out when adapting from the book to the film, but in the last one, it felt haphazard. I didn't understand the logic of why they included some stuff and left out other stuff.

ah yes, the half blood prince, its going to leave a bitter taste in peoples mouths for those that havnt read the book.

Should have been out this year, but no warner bros held it back till next summer cause they dont have anything else to have a blockbuster with
