I'm anxious to see it. Having a man crush on John Cusack helps. I think it has the potential to be one of the biggest movies of the winter. If it does less than $150 million I will be shocked.
Well, I went to see this. I really didn't think any film could be worse than 9, 2012 proved me wrong. This movie was a complete waste of 3 hours (rounded off). I wanted to walk out about half way through. This movie epitomized everything wrong with Hollywood. The music was off the cheesy scale, the scenes were over dramatic, the acting was average. A couple people that were sitting in front of me got up and left about 3/4s of the way through. I heard some others talking about wanting to shoot themselves when we were walking out through the tunnel. Please don't see this. Oh, and this is nothing like Day After Tomorrow, sadly.

It actually got to a point where I was calling out what would happen next to my buddy sitting by me, which probably was annoying, but I was right pretty much every time. Sure, some movies you're able to guess what happens next, but are you supposed to be able to through 3/4s of the movie? I'd say no.
This also goes with the cheesiness of it. I get that the main characters are supposed to survive, but don't have them driving a car with the road shattering behind them, making them barely out driving it. Also don't have planes about to hit glaciers, but at the last moment, pull up and just grace the top with the bottom of the plane...It was all too perfect.

This movie was a pile of shit, and there were 5 people behind me speaking Spanish the whole time. I tried telling them to shut the fuck up, but I think it got lost in translation. I'll give a review when I get out of work.

Didn't this guy already make this movie already? I swore it was called "The Day After Tomorrow".
I don't have any interest seeing this movie. I saw The Day After Tomorrow, wasn't impressed. I'm not into end of the world movies, you've seen one you've seen them all.

Just from the trailers, which showed some of that stuff, you could tell it was going to be way over the top. Doesn't surprise me at all that the whole flick follows that formula.
