Transformers 2: Rise of The Fallen
This Transformers had a lot of holes. It breifly and quickly explained the set-up and the plot and filled in other parts of the movie with useless information and attempts to be funny. Some of the characters are the products of over acting, such as Megan Fox and the man who plays "Leo". This was also a very sexy movie. With the addition of a lot of curb stomping robots, the CGI and special effects does not dissapoint. I loved the action. The movie dissapointed me abit but I left entertained.
Pros: Amazing action, great cinematography, successful attempts at comic relief, RAINN WILSON!!!
Cons: Over-acting, long and exaggerating with too many useless scenes, tried too hard to entertain the older audience when most of the audience were kids.
WC Review Based on 1 to 10: 6.5 out of 10
Professional Review: 2 out of 4 Stars
Funny SPOILERS: DO NOT READ THE FIRST ONE IF YOU WANT TO SEE IT)
1. When Optimus Prime sacrificed himself, all of the kids in the audience started crying, and there were a lot of kids.
2. They showed a longer and more terrifying trailer of 2012, and immediately, parents had to explain that movie to their kids. Hil-ar-i-ous.

I just heard kids yell it out loud and parent lean over to the kids. I'm also sure I heard one adult say "Oh, Dear" and another say "Thanks John Cusack".

Went to see this last night and holy crap did I have a headache when I walked out. Partially due to all the time I spent trying to figure out exactly what the hell was going on (way too much shit on the screen! subplots, etc.) and the action just never took a breather. Like at all. With them introducing Soundwave and others along with Starscream having a speaking role, I wished they would have spent a little more time developing those characters.
The script was again..terrible. Worse than the first one (I actually didn't mind the first one too much). I mean.. why do Sam's parents exist as focal point characters? They are so goddamn annoying and the comedy is horrendous. Though, in fairness, some dolts in the audience ate it up.. but that's on them.
With that said, I did get a lot of enjoyment out of the movie. I thought some of the battle scenes were decent, Optimus Prime was very badass, and given the script.. am I the only one who thought Shia and Fox did a very good job in their roles? I thought both of them were great. I think they made those cheesy love scenes believable. I love Megan Fox too.. very awesome.. she's really really sexy in this.. amazing.

I'm one hundred percent behind this. I went to the midnight sneak, and the amount of people there was just absolutely insane. I mean, I thought the Watchmen sneak was pretty packed but this completely blew that out of the water.
The action overall was fantastic, and the rest of the pro's he has but everything else left a bad taste in my mouth. Than I saw it a second time with some friends and still couldn't figure out some of the stuff.
Rainn Wilson though was a sweet relief. His role was short, but done to perfection.

I finally got a chance to go see it last night. I walked out of the theater not feeling all that good about the movie. Blitzkrieg pretty much nailed the points for me. To many subplots and the action never stopped. That was good that it was full of action, but most of the stuff could have been cut out. I didn't like the new autobots at all. I wouldn't say the movie sucked because it didn't, but it was far inferior to the first. I will end up watching it again on video so I can catch some things I missed in the theater.
On a side note I almost got into a fight with some girls parents. Their kids wouldn't shut up (they were about 15) and I turned around and told them to shut the fuck up before I beat them. Their father had a word for me after the movie and backed down after I told him if he didn't get the fuck away from me I was gonna put his head through a windshield.
