But Bond movies are amazing! Horror films are about people who just wont die. They even turn to slugs, go to hell, flop in the box office, and keep coming back. Need I mention the pure suicide known as Scream and the horrible idea to make another!? To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
Well George Lazenby was in one bond which sucked. Roger Moore overstayed his welcome, and Timothy Dalton wasn't that great. But, overall the franchise was pretty great.

Bring in the one legged doctor as the new Jigsaw
Reveal what was in the box Jigsaw left to his ex wife or girlfriend
Reveal what happend to the cops kid ( The one who got his head crushed by ice)
Kill off the current Jigsaw who go the note about knowing who he is.
End the series with Jigsaw(Tobin) being alive and it all being an elaborate plan. (wishful, sarcastic, hardly thinking)
I don't actually know. That's at Alton Towers right? He may have, although I'm pretty certain he shares my feelings towards theme parks, in that they are pointless and shit.
This is a series that needs to die quickly if they want to salvage any sort of good reputation. The original was scary, creative, raw, fresh and most important unpredictable. However, starting with the second film, it quickly lost all of the good qualities. While it hasn't been a complete downward spiral (I feel as if 3 was better than 2, 4 was horrible and 5 was better than 4, but not as good as 2), every one is just an excuse for a surprise ending (Which none have captured the shock of the first) and creative kills. When the only selling point to your movies is how the kills are done, you're not doing something right.
Had Saw 2 never been made, Saw would be regarded as one of the more clever hidden gems ever in horror cinema. True, the Saw name wouldn't have been as well known, but I feel it's better than being known for pointless film only to appeal to gore hounds. Saw became everything it was supposed to not be about. It's just yet another mainstream series that lacks anything original.
At least Cube remains what it was back in the 90's.
That's basically how I feel about the whole thing. I liked the first three as each was a different type of horror film, after that it just become generic gorefest, and it would've benefited from being just the first movie as a stand alone piece of cinema.

I went and watched the fifth one last night and I liked it. There is a lot they have left to do and it could be stretched out to another 2 movies. I heard there will be a prequel as well but that was years ago. I wasn't a fan of the movies when I watched the first one but after seeing two I went back and watched one and found out how truly awesome it was.
I didn't really like V. Not too much happened and the ending, despite claims to the contrary when the movie was advertised, was predictable in the extreme.
