Principal photography officially begins on Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 today in the Atlanta, Georgie area. Writes Zombie (in his MySpace blog): "Although we sort of started on Friday with a couple scenes. I'll update with a few exclusive pics from the set on Tuesday. Wish us luck, it's going to be crazy."
Kickass! Can't wait for this. Thought his first movie was pretty damn good.

Re: Halloween 2 Begins Shooting!
I'm kind of shocked he is doing a sequel remake. Seems kind of odd, but I'm not really disappointed. I really enjoy every movie Rob Zombie has directed and I think The Devil's Rejects is still a brilliant movie. I wonder what else he can add to the story of Michael Myers though. I'll see it, but I don't suspect as much of a difference this time around.

Zombie has been slowly building in every movie he's done. I don't think he'll go far away from what he normally does, but I think he'll only grow as a director..

The writer-director began principal photography this week in Georgia with Scout Taylor-Compton, Tyler Mane and Malcolm McDowell returning to reprise their roles as Laurie, Michael Myers and Dr. Loomis, respectively.
