Halloween 2 Begins Shooting!
Source:Rob Zombie
February 23, 2009
Principal photography officially begins on Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 today in the Atlanta, Georgie area. Writes Zombie (in his MySpace blog): "Although we sort of started on Friday with a couple scenes. I'll update with a few exclusive pics from the set on Tuesday. Wish us luck, it's going to be crazy."
Kickass! Can't wait for this. Thought his first movie was pretty damn good. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

I'm kind of shocked he is doing a sequel remake. Seems kind of odd, but I'm not really disappointed. I really enjoy every movie Rob Zombie has directed and I think The Devil's Rejects is still a brilliant movie. I wonder what else he can add to the story of Michael Myers though. I'll see it, but I don't suspect as much of a difference this time around.

Zombie has been slowly building in every movie he's done. I don't think he'll go far away from what he normally does, but I think he'll only grow as a director..

As promised over the weekend, Rob Zombie has premiered the first photo direct from the set of H2 (aka Halloween 2). The writer-director began principal photography this week in Georgia with Scout Taylor-Compton, Tyler Mane and Malcolm McDowell returning to reprise their roles as Laurie, Michael Myers and Dr. Loomis, respectively.
The first picture released is of Scout Taylor's Laurie Strode being taken into an operating room presumably after her encounter with Michael at the end of Halloween, and here it is:

Zombie notes on his blog: "Well, we made it through the first three days. Everything is going great. This film is going to blow away my last trip to Haddonfield. Ultra gritty, ultra intense and very real. Here is a sneak peek of Laurie moments after being wheel in to the ER."
Sweet! Can't wait
