After his Labour Day weekend hit remake of Halloween, Rob Zombie has been confirmed to direct Halloween 2 (Supposedly being called H2). Already slated to be back are Scout Taylor-Compton (Laurie Strode), Malcom McDowell (Dr. Loomis), Tyler Mane (Michael Myers) and music wiz, Tyler Bates. Also signing on for the first time are Ezra Buzzington (Mirrors), Jeff Daniel Phillips (Caveman) and Mark Christopher Lawrence (Chuck). Rumors have it that Danielle Harris (Halloween 4, 5 and RZ's Remake) has signed on, but RZ has yet to confirm it.
After the fresh start of a remake, are you interested in the sequel? How would you like the story to play out?

There is a storyline involved? For like the last hour of Halloween it was nothing but Myers murdering a whole street. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. I'm interested, but I'd like them to go back to a story from the orginals, not just Myers randomly murdering people for an hour. I'm more interested in My Bloody Valentine 3D tbh.

The whole storyline was Michael eliminating everyone close to Laurie so that he can finally have the one person he was close to (That's still alive) to himself again.

Whatever, to me there was a clear storyline up until he killed that guy in the shitter at the truck stop. Then it felt like he went from home to home killing everyone.

So why do you think he went home to kill everyone? He could of went anywhere to kill people, why would he travel all of those miles to kill the people of Haddonfield?

I understand why he went home, but instead of just killing the nesscary people it felt like he killed the neighbors, their dog, the poolboy, the village drunk, the hooker on the corner, and so on. Im just saying, too much killing in the last hour not enough dialog.

See, I don't really understand that. The people I can remember he killed:
The Strodes (Both the mom and dad)
Lynda and Bob
Paul (Annie's boyfriend)
2 cops
Going after Lynda and Annie is the same thing that happened in the original. Just like with the parents, Michael was eliminating anyone that could save Laurie. Killing the two cops in the Wallace house seemed like an obvious thing to do.
Let me know if I forgot anyone. But while I will admit that Zombie should of made more of an effort of making the second half more original, I felt all of the kills were justified.

You forgot a nurse, and I think it was a janitor but whoever it was sort of took care of Myers in the jail. I suppose he thought of himself as a sort of father figure. Then there was the trucker in the washroom stall, he had the shits and Myers kept knocking on the door.
Thats all I can think of right now. The killings up until the time he got back home were original and thanks to the dialog, it made sense. On a few of the kills he was actually defending himself. Back in his home town I was lost on why he was killing some people.
Dimension sent us the final teaser poster for Rob Zombie’s Halloween remake sequel this afternoon. H2 hits theaters August 28th, which means you’ve got quite a wait. This will have to hold you over.
