11 life terms? What did he do? All I saw was him shoot a few shots at the police and flee the scene. That's nothing that should be considered a life sentence never mind 11 of them.. Too excessive imo. Police get away with anything.

He killed several people before this chase happened...

I've seen this episode.

I don't think cops are getting "away" with anything when the guy was trying to kill someone on the road and taking shots at cops with his pistol.

What I meant was.. if the guy did the same exact thing to a few pedestrians, the court would have given him less time.. That is, before I heard about the murder charges.
