Rep Power: 3 ![]() | hahaha, what the hell? Some people just shouldn't drive in the snow. You're in Seattle, right J.C.? I was there like 15 years ago and they got a huge snowstorm and the city seemed totally unprepared - they had no plows or salt trucks or anything on the roads. |

Rep Power: 22 ![]() ![]() | You can be the best driver in the world and that shit can happen to you. You can't drive if you have no control of the car. This happened to me when I lived in Vancouver and was driving home. Went over an overpass with water under it and the bridge iced over. There was no way of knowing. I was lucky, no one was in front of me and I recovered. But everyone behind me crashed. 5 cars including a fire truck that was dumb enough to go down. The truck almost pinned someone between 2 cars and almost sent one of the cars over the side. It was crazy and sure was my lucky day. My car would have been destroyed if I had of crashed. |

Yes, many here seen unprepared for the snow when it happens. I saw 15 wrecks in one day driving home the first week it snowed here because some people drive like this in the weather....it's nuts. If the snow is heavy the city will clear the streets a little but in general it still stays very icy. If you don't have 4wd here you are basically screwed. | |
