John McCain

After winning New Hampshire, John McCain literally surged to the top nationwide. With this revelation, what's everyone's thoughts on him?

I honestly feel like he may be one of the most ethical, and honest people in this race. However I really question his financial policy and his health. In order for me to vote for him, I would like to know who his Vice President choice would be, because it seems like they would stand a good chance of becoming the President down the road.

Re: John McCain

Yeah, he's way too old. I'm also not sold on his domestic policies. He's a nice man, a stand-up guy, and I'd trust him in how to handle foreign terrorist states, but not someone I would personally vote for.

Re: John McCain

McCain would be my second choice out of the Republicans.

I don't really agree with anything he says on foreign policy, but if we are going to "stay the course" in Iraq I would feel more at ease with him as Commander in Chief.

If he is the Republican nominee and Ron Paul does not run as a third party candidate, he will get my vote.

Re: John McCain

I really like McCain alot. His stance on border control is a little odd and mean, but he is great in so many other areas. His age kills me though. Its really tough to look past.

Four years ago George Steinbrenner was fit for king, now he has no idea what's going on with dementia (reportedly).

It also almost guaruntees another new President in 2013 as well.

I finally played live and it was fantastic.

Ronald Reagan was getting ready to turn 70 when he was elected in 1980 and as we all know served as Commander In Chief until he was nearly 78.

John McCain is 71 right now.

The older age is a plus for me. I like the idea of having an older and more experienced President.
