Any source for that wildly ridiculous statement or is it just an assumption?

Check Alexa.Com, for internet traffic reports.

DeanForAmerica.Com vs. RonPaul2008.Com.

During Howard Dean's campaign, from 2003 to 2004 he had about .08% of the internet's traffic. As of now, Ron Paul has maxed out at .03%. While Ron Paul's campaign could certainly grow to a larger fan base, I don't see it growing much more since a lot of the caucuses are now coming up.

What you also have to look at is during that time, Howard Dean was the front runner with the Democrats and was getting tons of media attention.

Ron Paul's fan base has been built almost soley on the internet which is quite a feat. He has very little media attention and what media attention can be contributed to the fact that he has such and internet following. I read some where that he was the #1 searched for candidate on youtube. That is pretty amazing.

Re: Stephen Colbert Tops Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich in Presidential Poll

Ron Paul has benefited from much of the same media coverage that Howard Dean had. Before Time Magazine had Howard Dean in their magazine, no one had heard of him. Ron Paul is getting the same sort of attention, with his face on the cover of Time, but he's failing to gain their attention.

Howard Dean had the attention from the get go.

It is quite laughable how anti Ron Paul you are.

Someone has to stick up for the capitalistic bastards, who tie the average American down with scandals, and ridiculously high taxation rates. Like hell am I going to let some little old man break the satanic chains of corporate greed.

You only support the system because you hope to be in a position some day to exploit it for your own gain.

I'm not going to lie and say I don't envy the positions that some candidates are in. To deny the success that Mitt Romney has had with his entrepreneurship skills, would be pure ignorance. He is a brilliant businessman, with many good ideas. But to say I wish to exploit it, isn't necessarily the truth. I realize the need for the deontological efforts of Ron Paul and many other community leaders; I think you however need to realize that just because someone has been successful in business, does not make them corrupt. There are many different people, such as Howard Schultz, the CEO of Starbucks, who has given away millions of dollars to charity. Every winter, Starbucks has a Toys for Tots program, which is extremely successful. Every employee at Starbucks is given 100% healthcare coverage.

There are other people like Ben Cohen & Jerry Greenfield, the founders of probably the most well known ice cream, Ben & Jerry's, who have also given away millions of dollars, and have given employee's such gratifying opportunities in the business.

Apparently though because there are people like Bernard Ebbers, and Kenneth Lay, all people in corporate business are evil people out to get the every-day American who is working hard just to keep the lights on.

Those are the exceptions though and not the rule.
