Derby have defender Seb Hines available for the Carling Cup semi-final first leg visit of Manchester United after he joined on loan from Middlesbrough.
The Rams, playing their first domestic cup semi since 1976, will again be led by caretaker-boss Chris Hutchings.
Manchester United will welcome back Carlos Tevez after his New Year trip to Argentina, despite conflicting reports about his contract negotiations.
Tomasz Kuszczak, Rodrigo Possebon and Darron Gibson are set to be included. <!-- E SF -->
It is Derby's first appearance in the last four of the League Cup since 1968, while United will be appearing in a domestic semi for the eighth time in 10 years.
Manager Hutchings will hope for a less eventful game than his first in charge, a 4-3 FA Cup win over Forest Green on Saturday. Rams striker Rob Hulse believes all the pressure is on United because they are expected to win comfortably over the two legs.
"We are the underdogs and we have got nothing to lose whereas United are expected to win, so we can just enjoy pitting our wits against some of the best players in the world," said Hulse.
"Being the favourites and being expected to win brings with it an added pressure.
"We have got to try and take advantage of that and make it difficult for them and if we can play and get the crowd behind us, we can give anyone a game.
"It is a cup game so you never know what could happen, but at the same time we know that whatever team they bring it will be packed full of experienced internationals and great players."
United have not conceded a goal in their last four games and defender John O'Shea has called on them to keep another clean sheet to help them progress to the final.
"Keeping a clean sheet is always positive," said O'Shea. "That's the base for winning leagues and doing so well in cup competitions.
"If the defence keeps clean sheets, then nine times out of 10 it will result in a win for us because of the attacking talent we have."
