KICKOFF: Sunday, 1:00 ET
SURFACE: Grass
TV: CBS (Ian Eagle, Solomon Wilcots)
SERIES: 26th regular-season meeting. Ravens lead series, 14-11. The Ravens ended a three-game losing streak to the Bengals with a season-opening 17-10 win over Cincinnati. With the Ravens holding a 10-3 lead late in the third quarter, rookie quarterback Joe Flacco delivered a significant blow by scrambling 38 yards for a touchdown. The Ravens are looking for their first win at Paul Brown Stadium since 2004.
PREDICTION: Ravens 20-16
KEYS TO THE GAME: The Bengals are hurting across the board, but are particularly thin on defense. The Ravens will attempt to break their will early with a steady diet of the running game between RBs Willis McGahee, Le'Ron McClain and rookie Ray Rice. Baltimore's ground game has climbed to fourth in the league at 143.5 yards per game and gives the Ravens a distinct advantage with temperatures expected in the high 30s with snowy conditions possible. ... The Bengals have looked good at times under QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, but the offense tends to stall for long stretches that take Cincinnati out of games. Coach Marvin Lewis has stressed improving the running game, but that's going to be difficult against Baltimore's second-ranked defense with a beat-up offensive line. Still, the Bengals have to give RB Cedric Benson a chance or Fitzpatrick will be running for his life on third-and-long.
KEY INJURIES: Ravens: LT Jared Gaither (shoulder) is likely to get another game off; OT Adam Terry (concussion) is likely a game-day decision. Bengals: CB David Jones (knee), DE Antwan Odom (shoulder) and S Chinedum Ndukwe (foot) are uncertain; QB Carson Palmer (elbow) and LG Andrew Whitworth (ankle) are out.
FAST FACTS: Ravens S Ed Reed leads the NFL with 37 INTs since 2002. ... The Bengals are 8-21-1 in their past 30 games.
