Being as I'm from England, I think it was The Sun that started a campaign for people to "adopt" a Euro team. Knowing that they're damn good and I've been a fan for a long time, I adopted Spain. When the last 16 teams were named, I predicted that the final would be Germany and Spain.

So with that, I'm betting on Spain to win. Comparing the way Germany played in the semi-final to the way Spain did, Spain are most definitely the better team. Spain qualified for the final via their skill and their domination of Russia. Germany qualified for the final because of luck, and they did it by the skin of their teeth.

I think Turkey deserve to be in the final, but obviously that is not the way things have gone. Spain 4 Euro '08!
