When Paul London & Brian Kendrick battle Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch for the World Tag Team Championships at Unforgiven, it will be a clash between two veteran teams who still have their best years ahead of them in sports-entertainment.
World Tag Team Champions Cade & Murdoch have watched London & Kendrick since the duo was drafted from SmackDown to Raw in June. The high-flyers turned heads with an impressive 11-month reign as WWE Tag Team Champions and stole many a show on pay-per-view with their crash-and-burn style in the ring. When London & Kendrick were drafted to Raw, the tag team division immediately heated up and onlookers licked their chops at the possibility of seeing them battle Cade & Murdoch. They couldn’t wait to see two teams who share a wealth of championship match experience, but who are also polar opposites.
While London & Kendrick rely on their speed and a high-octane aerial assault, Cade & Murdoch employ a more mat-based, ground-and pound-attack. They are ring generals and are at their best when they double-team their opponents and dictate the pace. Cade & Murdoch also like playing head games with their challengers.
