Ever since The Great American Bash, when Chavo Guerrero did the unthinkable and cost his long-time friend Rey Mysterio the World Heavyweight Championship, the two have been embroiled in a family feud not seen since Romeo and Juliet. However, this rivalry is anything but a love story, as Chavo has proven by making Rey’s life miserable at every turn.
At SummerSlam, Vickie Guerrero got involved with Chavo and Rey’s match, and has since teamed up with Chavo in a business partnership with the goal of eradicating Mysterio from her life forever. On September 22, just one week after Chavo and Vickie distracted Rey by intruding on his son Dominick, the Luchador finally seemed to regain his depleted swagger and tenacity when he battled into the stands in an unadulterated slugfest with Chavo.
