Arizona Cardinals @ New York Giants

Last week:
An NFC showdown turned into a blowout as the Saints dominated the Giants, 48-27. ... The Cardinals routed the rival Seahawks, 27-3.

Keep your eye on ...

New York's pass rush: The Giants pride themselves on having one of the best and deepest defensive lines in the NFL. That unit, however, is coming off perhaps its worst game of the year against the Saints. New York was unable to get any sort of pressure on Drew Brees and the Saints quarterback had his way with a banged-up Giants secondary. A similar lack of pressure against Kurt Warner could mean a similar result.

Brandon Jacobs' patience: Despite the team's success this year, Jacobs has not had a banner season individually. Prior to last week's game against the Saints, he grew testy when asked by reporters about his lack of production and then he only got seven carries against the Saints. The Giants will need his between-the-tackles power running against the Cardinals and he must maintain his focus and confidence.

Larry Fitzgerald finding his stride: A surprisingly slow start to the season has given way to typical Fitzgerald numbers. In the last two weeks, the Pro Bowl receiver has 18 catches for 179 yards and three touchdowns. After seeing what the Saints receivers did to New York last Sunday, Fitzgerald will no doubt be itching to attack the Giants' secondary.

Did you know?
The Cardinals established a new team record by allowing just 14 rushing yards last week. ... Arizona DE Bertrand Berry has six sacks in his past three games against the Giants. ... Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw leads the league with a 6.2 yard per carry average. ... When New York DE Justin Tuck has a sack, the Giants are 15-3.
