Streaks
The Rams and Packers have split their last eight meetings, but the Rams hold a 46-42-2 overall series advantage, including the playoffs.

Last week
St. Louis had a chance for a late comeback, but was unable to pull it off, losing 9-7 in Washington. ... The Packers' late rally against the Bengals fell short in a 31-24 loss.

Keep your eye on ...

Steven Jackson getting loose: Jackson is the Rams' best offensive player and his ability to create big plays will be key for St. Louis. He rushed for 104 yards last week against the Redskins and will have his sights set on a Packers defense that allowed Bengals RB Cedric Benson to run for 141 yards in Week 2.

Green Bay's pass blocking: The Packers will be without stalwart OT Chad Clifton and have given up the most sacks in the NFL with 10. The Rams, on the other hand, have only one sack this season -- tied for second-worst in the league. If St. Louis is able to solve its pass rush woes against Green Bay's shaky offensive line and get Aaron Rodgers to the ground, it could keep the game close.

Mason Crosby's accuracy: Green Bay's kicker was lousy in the preseason, making just five of 10 field goals. Those struggles may have continued into the regular season as he has missed a field goal in each of the first two weeks. The Packers will need Crosby to snap out of his slump should they continue to play close games as they have in the first two weeks.

Did you know?
St. Louis has lost its last five home games and is just 2-14 at the Edward Jones Dome since 2007. ... Rams rookie LB James Laurinaitis leads the team with 22 tackles. ... Packers WR Greg Jennings was held without a catch for the first time in his career last week. ... Green Bay CB Charles Woodson had his seventh career interception return for a touchdown last week.
