Strachan's one of only three managers who won 3 SPL titles in a row, and he did it whilst rebuilding the club's finance structure. Celtic are in much better shape now, than when he joined, and they really owe him a great debt.

He was a more successful Celtic manager than Martin O'Neill (you know that guy who's doing brilliantly at Aston Villa now?), and did it whilst spending far less money. Pretty good going. And that's without even mentioning the significant strides they made in Europe (well, until this season).

Basically Strachan's a good manager, and I dunno why you and Mikk seem to be regarding him as not.
