Well, first how do you think it should be contested? I think they should do 6 singles matches with three winners.. Since there are no DQ's or count outs we'll have three winners no question and then I think the three winners should compete in an old school 3 way dance to decide the champion. Keep in mind under ECW rules a triple threat match is elimination and not a single fall. I believe the three participants in this match should be...
Kurt Angle because he's probably going to be their biggest star, Sabu because he's maniacal, and CM Punk because I believe he should be billed as one of the cornerstones for the company. The man is pretty bloody awesome and young to boot.
RVD doesn't need the match.
Edit: Make Angle the champion to begin with a take it from there..
Yeah.. that's a strong possibility. If they are planning to recombine the brands as I think they should, then they should just have Rey Mysterio jump ship with the World Heavyweight Title.. That way, they don't have to have RVD scrap the WWE title which to me holds the most prestige out of the two.
I hope I don't ruin this but it would be best if Cena retained but then Heyman came out and did the "I still have a draft from Raw" thing then signed him.
I think it will be either Van Dam or Sabu who will then drop the belt and claim it as the ECW title like douglas did all those years ago.
Van Dam should get it as he in my opinion, is a former ECW alumini who never won the big one and i think it would be deserving for him to at least hold it once.
If neither of those happen then stick it on Angle or Punk.
