I think the Yankee fans are pretty excited about having Melky Cabrera back up lol..

Yeah, I'm ready to start throwing the dirt over Johnson here. Last year he was still decent but not the old Johnson by any stretch and this year he's just been horrible. He'll have some decent games but I would NOT be comfortable with him going into the playoffs.

Not a true statement at all. He's dead as a doorknob (or however that saying goes).

Also, not to sound like a sore loser or anything, and I dont usually make excuses, but Beckett was definitely getting the better end of the umpire's strike zone last night.

Case in point: Ortiz's at-bat that led to the first run. Johnson throws what should have been strike 3 on the outside corner (that Beckett had been getting from the ump all night), but the ump calls it outside. Next pitch is the A-Rod error that leads to one run, then the wild pitch, then the Manny RBI single.

So, instead of it still being 2-0 Yankees (which it should have been), it was 3-2 Boston.

It's easy to win a game when the ump is expanding his strike zone for one pitcher and squeezing another.
