Fiction: I know everyone will point to Wade going to the line 25 times in game 5 and the call at the end where there was apparently no contact.. but I go beyond that.. The Mavs blew a game the Heat had no business winning, game 3.. I don't think they were going to come back after blowing that..

FACT or FICTION..

The Yankees and Red Sox will BOTH make the playoffs.

Fact. However, just like how Cleveland made it interesting last year, the Tigers and Blue Jays will make it interesting this year.

Fact or fiction: The Steelers will make the playoffs this year (it's not quite so obvious, take some time to think about it before answering...)

FACT.. I know they've lost some players like Randle El and then you have to take into account this injury to Big Ben but I think they'll sneak in.. The division is going to be tough this year though with the Bengals and the Ravens look liek they'll be better.. but I think the Steelers will get to 9-7 and sneak in. Tough though..

Fact:

They are talented enough to win without Roth. Granted they dont win often when he is out, but they are built for the long haul, plus Big Ben will most likely not miss the whole season (not sure what is projected) and he will lead them to a wildcard spot.


Fiction:

Although it looks like he will be a great player, it will be tough for him to get in Kobe's league long term, but he could. Tossup.

Fact or Fiction:

Jonathan Papelbon will win AL Rookie of the Year, Cy Young, and MVP awards and complete the best season ever for a relief picture. [/takes off homer hat]

FICTION.. It's funny when you look at the guy's ERA.. I mean talk about non-existent.. The guy is having a tremendous, off the charts year no doubt about it, but they won't give him all three. I think Cy Young is a possibility, a strong possibility, but MVP will go to a hitter.. plus, you have to take into account now, Ortiz, Manny, and him will actually hurt eachother's chances because they have so many canidates on one team..

FACT or FICTION.. The White Sox are better then last year.

Fact: With a new Thome playing first they had a solid offense going this year. The offense has put up great numbers through out the year and has yet to let up. Along with Garcia and Contreas pitching well there destined to make it deep into the playoffs but i don't see them winning the world series.

Fact or Fiction: The New England Patriots will miss the playoffs this year.
