Guy just wants to play for a GOOD TEAM, which the Raptors are capable of being. If we wants money for it, good bless him they can offer that to. But its way to early to say Bosh is gone before the 08/09 season is even over. Considering BC has said many times this offseason that he plans to be aggressive in signing Free Agents and in the draft to surround Bosh for a run. We'll see.
The only way I see Bosh gone is if they swept in the first round or being sub 500 at the trade deadline.

I still don't think this rules out the possibility of him re-signing in Toronto, since I believe they can still offer him more money than any other team, but if I were Colangelo I'd be looking into every option available right now -- and that means listening hard to every trade offer out there.
I'd start by seeing what the Bobcats want for Jeff Green (who apparently doesn't mesh well with Durant) and the #3 pick (used on Ricky Rubio, if I know BC), and see if Bosh would be enough. Then, if you like Rubio enough, move Calderon for a shooting guard or use the money you saved on Bosh to go sign a guy like Ben Gordon. Or, use that money to overpay someone like Paul Milsap.
Well that's a good point too, if he can't get his money in another place he might have to stick around. Seems like Bosh is ready to make a move though. He's been on a lot of team's radars. Wasn't Detroit interested in him?

Everyone is interested. The problem is that everyone doesn't need a big man. The teams that do need a big man are at an advantage over Toronto because they generally have a better supporting cast than what Toronto has to offer. For some reason, I see him going to Charlotte, Chicago, or if they can keep Lebron and have some generous cap room, Cleveland.
Chicago has been batted around as possibly giving up Deng, Tyrus Thomas and a 1st for him... Apparently they (along with Miami -- a package incl. Beasley?) are a good bet because there's a greater chance he'd resign in Chicago (as opposed to somewhere like OKC).

The Beasley rumor as far as I know is just the Miami Herald being the sterling sports writers they are saying "I think they should do this" and passing it as a fact. The entire deal surrounding Beasley was terribly one sided for Miami.
Right now the big rumors are Pistons signing and trading Boozer/Prince (Barf) and a first and Chicago giving up as you mentioned Deng and Tyrus (lesser barf) and there first. Golden State is always thrown around with them giving up there farm of young guys and a Big salary for Bosh.
Personally if he has to go I'd love to see something done with Atlanta where the Raptors get something like Marvin Williams and Al Horford in return. Sadly the fact that he will probably still opt out means they won't get full value and have to take once beens like Deng and Tyrus for him most likely.

If I were Toronto I'd trade Bosh for a bunch or role players and then sign a couple defensive minded vets (Sheed anyone!). Bosh isnt a superstar anyhow, he fits an off man like Gasol in LA. I dont know why the Raptors are trying to make him something that he clearly never was. Resign Marion and ship Bosh out, in my opinion. I'd love for them to get Gooden. I know he isnt the best but he is under-rated. He can get you 10 and 10 a night and thats not bad considering Toronto play a similar style to the Magic.
MIAMI -- Forwards Jermaine O'Neal and Yakhouba Diawara of the Miami Heat have exercised options to remain under contract for next season.
Both had contracts mandating they "opt in" for the final years of their deal. O'Neal will make nearly $23 million in 2009-10, while Diawara's salary is around $900,000.
O'Neal averaged 13.3 points and 6.4 rebounds this past season for the Heat and Toronto Raptors. Diawara, who started 21 games in his first season with Miami and third overall in the NBA, averaged 3.4 points per game.
holy crap at 23 million for O'Neal.
