I don't really get the logic of saying "oh if this happened, blah blah blah Joakim Noah sucks" then even slightly compairing him to Tyrus Thomas who toke 3 seasons to even come remotely close to good. I get it your a closet Boston fan whos mad they lost. If your not, your a really, really confused Bulls fan who needs to calm down and just enjoy the game for what it is.
Not everyone is a star player, Noahs a great role player, deal with it.
The whole point of Tyrus was that he improved and that's why he's not a fuck up. It took him three years. Noah now has two under his belt. It makes sense for me to say that unless Noah goes the same route, he's still a fuck up in my eyes. I don't see what's so hard to understand there.
And I am nowhere near a Boston fan. I'm a basketball fan who understands and plays the sport well enough to know when a foul is unnecessary and can be avoided while yielding the same end result. An NBA quality player should understand that as well and make the right judgment call at that time. Noah did not, resulting in me still seeing him as a fuck up. Had he not been an idiot and just blocked the shot, my view would have changed slightly as he would have made a great play at the best time. Seeing as how that didn't happen, he's still a fuck up.

lol wut? If youre such a great basketball mind, you'd know the likelyhood of blocking a shot taken by a jumpshooter is pretty low. The best defense is to get a hand in the shooters face but not above the elbows.
It doesn't matter, if they had lost, the Noah foul would have been something to talk about because that would have been the foul that lost them the game. But he shouldn't have fouled Pierce with 3 seconds to go and your team up, just a dumb foul. But there is no way he should have gone for the block either, that would have been dumber.

Wait.. are people defending the Noah foul? That was a horrendous play, but what can you do? D. Rose was official in the first game but if you're the Celtics you have to feel good about tonight. You got nothing out of Allen, you got a sub-par performance out of Pierce, nothing out of the bench, and you still only lost by two points in overtime. It's not the end of the world.
I'm liking the playoffs thus far but I do have one gripe. Why the hell isn't Yao always as aggressive as he was game one in Portland? The guy could be a monster and unlike a lot of other talented bigs, this man shoots over 80% from the line so the Hack-A-Yao wouldn't fly.
^^^^^ I am not worried at all. It isn't like we lost because they outplayed us. Yes their defense was a lot better but if Paul had made that one free throw, the game would have been over and we wouldn't be that impressed by the Bulls. Yes it is impressive how they played, but there is no way they will keep it that consistent. Plus again, one free throw and the game was over. No need to worry at all.

Clearly no one watched the video I posted. If you look, Noah is in perfect position to block the shot. No, you don't go for the block every time, but he had a great opportunity there and he just choked.
Tonight's Celtics/Bulls game is exactly why I love the NBA come playoff time. Gordon and Ray Allen were out there BEASTIN!~ tonight.. awesome display and obviously I was heavily tuned in and cheering them on both being UCONN alums.. Awesome buzzer beater for Jesus and the win! Can't wait 'til game 3.
