Yes, Apparently they've gone with DE Mario Williams instead of the highly touted Reggie Bush.. I don't have the Insider but here's a quick link.. I'm shocked.

wow...to think that they tanked all those games this season just to NOT take the most exciting NFL prospect in years...

Fact: Of Mario Williams's 13 sacks last season, 10.5 came in only 3 games, two against teams with losing records (Wake Forest and Maryland), and one against a decent team from a non-BCS conference (Southern Miss)

Sacks vs. BC: 0
Sacks vs. Virginia Tech: 0
Sacks vs. Florida St.: 0.5
Sacks vs. Clemson: 0
Sacks vs. Georgia Tech: 0

Those are the conference games vs. teams with winning records, and he combined for half a sack in those games. He also put up zero sacks against Division 1-AA team Eastern Kentucky

His other sacks came against 5-6 North Carolina, and 4-7 Middle Tennessee St (from the Sun Belt conference,the WORST conference in Division 1-A. The first place team finished 6-6).

This is a BIG mistake by the Texans

Great, great pick for the Texans. There's obviously no denying how exciting a player Bush is, but I honestly believe Williams is the pick that will help the Texans the most.

Think about it. Who would you rather have: Reggie Bush at RB and some dope at DE (HOU's pass-rush has always been MISERABLE), or Domanick Davis (very good, young back) and a guy at DE whose size and athleticism is beyond human? Bush is the sexy pick, yeah; so would have been Vince Young. But Mario Williams is far and away the most practical choice, and his ceiling is probably just as high as Reggie's.

It DOES piss me off that GB won't end up with Mario, though, and if NYJ and NO swap picks tomorrow, they might miss on Hawk as well.

This is mind boggling to me though.. I understand Mario Williams is a freak but everyone has Reggie Bush pegged at the top of the draft and Davis is no elite back..

Williams draft report says he needs to be motivated and he takes plays off.. what the hell is that? I don't want a guy like that and have to deal with his shit if I have a player like Bush to take..

"Stupid" just about sums it up.

Regardless of whether or not Mario Williams is the best choice for the Texans, he should not have gone number one. Surely they could have traded down a couple spots and still gotten Williams. If nothing else, they should have taken Bush, and then traded him. I just refuse to accept that Mario Williams is fair value for the number one pick in this draft.

Good football decision by Texans. Reggie Bush will not make the impact that everyone thinks. Teams will key in on him and shut his ass down. U heard it here first. Bush is O V E R R A T E D.
