Just heard this on ESPN. I think he deserves it for getting the team to 50 wins without Amare. It's funny.. He's always been a really good player but who would have thought 2-time league MVP?

Shaq has one MVP, that's correct. I'm not sure how he doesn't have more though.. Seems like he got screwed somwehre along the way.

I think Duncan has two. Iverson has one. Those might be the only active players to win an MVP.. I have to think.

I agree with Nash winning it actually.. I may have gone with LeBron but then when I think about it.. Nash and the Suns won over 50 games without Amare the whole season and 6 players on the Suns had career highs in points per game, you know that can also be attributed to Nash..

The Suns lead the league in scoring the last two seasons and The Mavs the three years prior. Nash was the PG on both teams.
