| Are the Chicago Bulls better then Miami Heat? ok if you look at the roster Miami has Shaq, Alonzo Mourning, Antione Walker, Dwane Wade, jason Williams and Gary Payton. 6 great players , 5 of which have all been to the All Star game and one that could be playing in the And 1 Mix Tape tour. Chicago has........players that are not well known and don't have a big time player like AI or Duncan or Kobe and yet have given Miami a run for their money. If Shaq nor Wade played I'm sure Bulls would win, same if Walker or Payton werent to play. I don't like teams that have 3 or more big stars on their team as it's an easy victory, even though Miami will win the series it has not been easy for them. Which is why I think chicago is a better team as they don't have 6 or even one great stars to be giving Miami such a hard time. Game 1 MIA 111, CHI 106 -5 point victory Game 2 MIA 115, CHI 108 - 7 point victory now don't you think with a team like Miami they would be winning by 15 or 20 points? | ||||||||||||||

| Well first.. hello to you.. Now are the Bulls better? I can't say they are better because even though they've been competitive they've still lost the 2 games.. I think they'll play very well in Chicago though because the Heat are having a lot of trouble stopping the Bulls quicker guards on the perimeter. Hinrich, Gordon, and Nocioni have been having a field day out there.. These stars you've listed.. I don't know. Walker has always been a weird player, shoots way too many three's, and probably should post up more.. Gary Payton is a shell of his former self. Alonzo hasn't played in the games and is also a shell of his former self. Shaq can still get it done and has in this series but isn't quite the dominnent figure he once was either. The only two guys in their prime you mentioned are Wade who is tremendous and Williams who is ok.. I agree the Heat might be having more trouble here then they should but I'm just going to say that A) The Bulls are better then most people think and B) The Heat aren't nearly as good as some people make them out to be. | |||||||||||||||

| The Bulls are not better. The wins weren't blowouts, but a win is a win is a win. A 1-point win and a 30-point win count the same in the standings. Miami also has Udonis Haslem, who is a quality "non-star" player | |||||||||||||||

| To say the Bulls are better than the Heat (and based on two Bulls losses!) is laughable. To suggest the Bulls would be a better team with Miami's roster... doesn't make any sense. | |||||||||||||||

| you are failing to relize that it took 5 big stars to beat the bulls. yes Payton may not be like he was a few years ago but he is still a pesky defender. Jason Williams was lighting it up in the first quarter for Miami in game 2 Walker was beeing very phsyical and can make shots and post up, Shaq and Wade as always dominate. yes a loss is a loss but Chicago has beaten many big teams before including Miami. What I am trying to say is if Miami needs all these guys to win a game, thay have issues, unlike Chicago, who can win and give Miami a hard time without having 6 big names on their team. agian this is a matter of opinion and this is mine. | ||||||||||||||

| How does it make Chicago a better team though? They lost both games. Miami is better because they beat Chicago, straight up (well, that and a bunch of other reasons). And if you're going to call Payton, Walker, Mourning and Williams "big stars" at this point in their careers, wouldn't it be fair to call a few of the Bulls "big stars"? | |||||||||||||||

| Yeah, I agree with Freak here (I have to!).. Ben Gordon, Kirk Hinrich, Luol Deng, and Nocioni are four pretty damn good ball players all under the age of 25.. Payton and Morning are fossils. Williams and Walker and still both decent but not big stars by any means. Shaq and Wade are obviously still elite players but the Bulls are not better any way you want to look at it.. The Heat do have issues though and won't reach the finals.. no way.. The Bulls I hear are going hard after Garnett in the off-season so watch out. The Bulls could definitely be better then the Heat by next year. | |||||||||||||||

| what I mean by "big stars" is they have all played in the all star game. all the bulls players are great players but based on name value and past successes their not at the same leverl as the Heat players, yes a loss is a loss but you can't look at the outcome, to determine how good a player or team is you have to look at the actual game play. example Cena beat Kurt but we all know Kurt is better wrestler, yes wrestling is scripted but even on a scripted show you can tell who's better, and even though Bulls lose they still produced a good game and a good show. Yes Miami has a good team and I would prefer to see Miami vs. Detriot in the Eastern Conference Finals, but you must agree that Chicago has a huge heart and won't give up a win that easly. yes based on ststa and results Miami is the better team but my respect goes to Chicago as they have bigger hearts. they have alot to work on ofcourse, they are what we call a "rookie" team. I should have done a different title for this thread. lol | ||||||||||||||

| I dont follow basketball AT ALL, but I watched the 4th quarter of Game 1. Based on that I will give you my expert opinion. Were not the first two games in Miami? Shouldn't that alone give the Heat even more power to their punch going into the games? I believe that Miami should be beating the holy hell out of the Bulls, but the Bulls are playing tough on the road and spreading the ball around the court which leads to a real tough time for the Heat on their home court. I know in other sports when you have home field advantage and have the first two games at home you are EXPECTED to win them both if not at least 1. Now the series goes back to Chicago. If my theory rings true and Chicago plays the Heat as hard they will most likely win at least 1 in Chicago. I still think Shaq wins the title this year, but again I didnt watch more than 15 minutes of NBA basketball all year so I definetly know what I am talking about. | |||||||||||||||

| Well, there's a difference between saying "The Bulls are a good team" and "the Bulls are better than the Heat" Basically what you're saying is the Bulls are better because they lost even though they have worse players, and if you took the good players off of Miami, they would lose. That's circular reasoning. The fact is, Miami DOES have Shaq and Wade, and you cant change that. Oh, and Walker, Williams, and Payton may have made the all-Star team in the past, but they fucking suck, especially Walker. He was NEVER that good and, Mourning hasnt played at all in the playoffs yet | |||||||||||||||
