Portsmouth have sealed the signing of Younes Kaboul from Tottenham.
The French defender, who was also linked with Sunderland and Aston Villa, has joined for an undisclosed fee after agreeing a four-year contract.
"I think Pompey are a top-five Premier League side and I believe I can achieve what I want to achieve at this club," he told Portsmouth's official website.
Kaboul, 22, joined Spurs for around £8m from Auxerre last July but only made 19 Premier League starts.
Well at least Keano for 3 of the 4 from Spurs.

They were laying into Kaboul on Setanta during the Community Shield, saying he is not good enough for Pompey, they don't know why Redknapp wants him etc. I personally think he has a lot of potential, being so young and still getting used to the Prem. I think this is a good buy. They need some pace in the defence and he will be a long term replacement for the ageing Campbell.

True. I thought you might have been going back to something I said last season, but I didn't remember saying anything bad lol.

I remember he came up with some important goals, but obviously that is nothing to do with this defensive abilities. It is an asset though. Defenders like Terry, Vidic and Lescott are that bit more important due to the goals they contribute.
He wasn't one of the worst offenders defensively (Robinson, Dawson etc) but as said, he didn't play as much.
