I just got done watching Manny's press conference and he had this message that he addressed to Red Sox fans that I would like to forward along to all of you:
"But first I want to say something from the bottom of my heart. I want to thank all the fans in Boston. I love you guys and you guys were there for me through the ups and downs and I wish everybody the best. I'm in a new city and I just want to move on.
"
He made this statement without being asked by a member of the LA media. He took the time in his press conference to stop in the middle of the questions to make sure that we, the fans, knew that Boston fans are still in his heart. You can watch the whole ten-plus minute press conference on the Dodgers official team website.
Right now the Red Sox are tied 1-1 in the bottom of the eighth, I'll have a full game wrap posted up as soon as she goes final.

I love Manny's production. But I have never seen an athelte be so damn open about his selfishness. SS can make fun of me all he wants, but if you keep him happy and keep him on the field he is a monster. But if theres just ONE onion is his tuna fish sandwich, he wants to take 3 days off and slack for about a month.
THis is the guy who didnt even want to board the plane leaving Anaheim and go to Seattle with the team. He wanted to shut it down with his fake injury for 2 weeks, and the players had to beg him to play.
