Cristiano Ronaldo has refused to confirm that he will be staying at Manchester United.

Real Madrid have been chasing the Portuguese winger for the whole of the summer but United are determined to keep him.

Sir Alex Ferguson reiterated earlier this week that Ronaldo would not be sold after meeting with the player to hear his point of view.

However, Ronaldo, currently on holiday in America, has stated that he does not know what the future holds.

"I've had hundreds of questions about Manchester United and Real Madrid," he told ESPN. "What do you want me to say? That I'm going or I'm staying?

"I don't know about the future, only God knows it. I can't say any more.
So umm... yeah.

He's just putting the decision off for as long as he possibly can so that he stays in the public spotlight. Does he have a deadline date of some sorts or can this stretch out until the end of the transfer period?
