Josh Hamilton hit 28 home runs in the first round, but still didn't get the win. It set a new record for most home runs in the first round, by beating Abreu's previous record of 24. It was a great moment for Hamilton, especially considering everything that he gone through and conquered. Justin Morneau won the derby, but all the attention seems to be going to Hamilton.
Thoughts on the Derby? Hamilton? Morneau?

I thought it was pretty sick. 28 homeruns in one round is ridiculous, not to mention that he hit like 14 in a row or some shit. It's a pretty cool story, too, to realize that he came from crack cocaine and shit to a major league player in a short amount of time. Josh Hamilton's the fucking man To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

This was by far the best performance I have seen in the HRD. Even though he didn't win, he still hit the most home runs, with 2nd place being like 13 back. and yea, too bad for Morneau....he won't be remembered for the derby, but at least he'll be remembered for scoring the winning run in the all-star game.
