A lot of people think that Strahan retiring will be a bad thing for the Giants. For off the field reasons, I'd agree, but the Giants have a lot of talent in their end and tackles positions, and a lot of them have the potential to fill Strahan's shoes. Coming to them repeating, I really don't think they would even repeat with Strahan.
It won't effect them all that much, Justin Tuck proved even in spot duty he was a great pass rusher. Maybe not to the level of Strahan at the moment but when your competing with Osi and Strahan for sacks and still pull 10 on the year.
Lets not forget that Justin Tuck was the guy all over Tom Brady in the superbowl, not Strahan.

it will effect them to a certain degree. He was the leader on defense, and he has some huge shoes to fill. They've got a good defense though, so I don't think it will hurt them that much.
