My friend has a Red Sox license plate, but he lives upstate.
It's kinda funny because he got it in the middle of the 2004 season, so it says "Sox 04". And now he's like "Fuck! They win the world series the year I get my license plate...now people are gonna think I'm some tool who ran out after they won they won the WS and got the license plate...nobody will believe I had it before then!!!"
So it seems now that people in NY can't get license plates of ANY MLB team outside of New York. That kinda sucks, but it doesn't affect me since I wouldn't spend the extra money that a personalized plate costs.

yea i don't see who get personalized plates. i seen one yesterday that was ill. it was "FKN LOW". On a impala with 22's and it was painted black and white to look like a cop car.
