Well, now that we are down to the four team who do you got winning it all? It's funny, I was just checking the leaderboard over at ESPN's Tourney Challenge and there are actually people who picked this exact final four. Unreal.
I guess you have to start with George Mason. I knew they'd be a dangerous team but by "dangerous" I thought maybe a win or two, not friggin' to the final four. They've been unbelievable defeating 4 top 25 teams on their way here including my Huskies. Bastards. They've gotten some solid contributions from a lot of different people and their coach is pretty decent as well, but final four? Jeez..
I didn't see much of the game with UCONN because I was gone, but from what I did see and the highlights, this team is just playing really really well. It didn't look like UCONN was even that bad.. in the game to a point where you could argue they "lost it". It looked to me like GM took it.
So.. here's the two games..
George Mason vs. Florida - I see Florida winning here. They have a good inside and outside game and a lot of bodies. I think GM's run comes to an end. It has to at some point, right?
UCLA vs. LSU - I'm taking LSU. UCLA is deep, talented, and plays very good defense but LSU just has more pure talent then anyone in the country or at least anyone who is left in the tourney. hey are on a mission and I think most of their key contributors will be going pro after this so they'll be game. UCLA will play well though. I think two fairly close games.
I'm taking LSU to win it all.
