There are a bunch of rivaries in American sports and they can draw a good amount of ratings. You got the Yankees/Red Sox rivalry, you got the Bears/Packers rivalry, you even got the Steelers/Raiders rivalry, what do you think it's the most intense rivalry in American sports?

Steelers Raiders is pretty much dead as they'll never face each other in meaningful games till Al Davis is dead. Maybe if you were born in the 40s and watched there epics back in the day, but theres no Stalber,Allen or even Branch/Biletnikoff to warrent any rivalry but AFC West ones. And even those suck.
Personally, I think that Sox/Yanks is pretty fun to follow but its rather tame lately. As for right now, I think that Lakers/Celtics is probably the best of the bunch, even though it was dead for awhile.

There'll be no sorrow there, no more burdens to bear,
No more sickness, no more pain, no more parting over there;
And forever I will be with the One who died for me,
What a day, glorious day that will be.
I can see the Rays/Red Sox rivalry grow within the next season. Red Sox fans pissed because the Rays eliminate them, and what happened back in May. They need to renew rivalries in sports, so they can be interesting to watch.

Now that you guys have a team again Mike ( To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. ), yeah Pistons/Bulls is a good rivalry.
Also, Dak is correct in that the Michigan/Ohio State rivalry is huge, although this year it won't mean much to us To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. We suck something hard.
Just to add to the list:
Michigan/ Michigan State is pretty big. This past weekend was a huge tailgate weekend down in Ann Arbor for that game.
